Basd on the above, you cannot go wring with a 5v GLV-2.

With charger and batteries it'll exceed your $100 target but its performance, durabilty, and ergonomics will also exceed your expectations.

Whatever you decide, good luck on your purchase!

+1 on the 5 volt GLV. One of the best 5 volts on the market.

The LiL Sister will rock your world then. Its the one in the middle there. I paid $65 bucks and it has no protection built in. You can VV that thing all the way from 0 to over 7 volts on fresh bats. Super small, uses 2 10440s. It has the same drawback the darwin does, its not a sealed unit. Careful with your juice and dripping, or you will get it inside the unit.

that lil sister is nice. and I do like box mods, but I think I like 'rectangular' shaped over 'block of cheese' shaped. and if I'm paying 100 bucks for an e-cig I want it to be decent and look nice, not plastic and from parts of things from radioshack.

so, heres the thing. I think I might buy a cheap box mod now [big kazoo], but I think I've pretty much made my mind up :

1. I want the GGTB more than anything else. That thing is so nice, I like the idea of having all those options for battery/voltage. [I could totally do 7.4v, oh god]. but can't fnd them anywhere. COV has a few, but wtf. ANYONE WANT TO SEL ME A GGTB?
2. if I can't get the loot/find a ggtb, I'm going to do a GLV2, but I actually might do that anyway [first] because someone offered me a great price.

what do you think? GGTB or GLV? if it HAS to be only ONE? and I really love that button placement on the GLV. that's the only thing. I love those 'top' buttons. any sleekish [longer than wide, like the LS] with that type of button? I'd be all on that.

I can only speak for me but if it had to be only one, I'd go 5v GLV. I've tried bottom feeders and vv and I appreciate the benefits of each but for simple consistent performance nothing beats my GLV. It works perferct every time and it feels good doing it.

If you can get a pre-owned 5v GLV, buy it and if you don't like it, sell it to someone else. They go like proverbial hotcakes in the classifieds and unless you end up with one that has somebody's custom name etched into it, I'd almost guarantee you could resell it in hours, if not minutes.

I don't have the GGTB, but I do have the GGTS and GGSlim. GGTS is fantastic as its the only mod I have that has adjustable air draw on it. Wifey is vaping the provari now because I can't use these new dual coil cartos on it and max them out. But 2 3V bats in the GGTS is perfection. So I polished it up and its my daily unit now
