Hello everyone!

I am new here and need some help, hope I'm posting this in the right category. :)

I've been vaping for more than six months now. I starded with an EVOD Mega kit, and moved up pretty quickly to Lemo Drop + iStick TC40W, which i loved.

I've gotten an iStick TC100W two weeks ago and I have a Serpent Mini arriving any day now.

What I'm looking for is a good dual coil RTA. I've tried a couple of RTAs and RDAs so far, including the Griffin and Mutation X V4.

What I liked in the Griffin is the flavor, amount of vapor and air flow. What i didn't like is how hard it was to wick it (builing and mounting coils i got right after a couple of tries). I didn't like that wick-ring, which i now see in almost every RTA of that style, and how easy it is to over wick it. Never had such problems with my Lemo Drop. I also dont like the JFC.

I like how Eleaf Oppo RTA has those big wick channels and no wick-ring. Air holes also seem satisfactory on the Oppo, and i would buy it if it held more than 2 ml of juice.

TL;DR:

What I'm looking for:

-dual coil RTA
-velocity style deck preffered, but not mandatory
-Griffin-like air flow and AFC
-no wick-ring like the one in Griffin, Sapor etc.
-no juice flow control
-top filling
-Eleaf Oppo-like wicking channels
-at least 3ml juice capacity
-22-25mm diameter (23-24mm diameter preffered)
-low price (30$ and lower, everything above gets heavily taxed when ordering here)
-authentic rather than a clone

I usually vape 70+ VG juices. I have my Lemo Drop set up with 28g Ni200, 11 wraps 3mm ID (which comes out at ~.20 ohms), spaced, with cotton bacon. I vape it at 30 W, 180° C.

You have to pick your poison. Juice Control or top fill. Kind of hard to have one without the other.

First you have to make some choices then we can help.

Are you a cloud chaser of flavor chaser

Mouth to Lung (MTL)or direct lung (DL)

Single or dual coils

Rebuildable or Tank or premade coils

Velocity style deck, Post holes or postless Luke Bachelor Nano

Temperature Control or power mode

Are you a tootle puffer or use big power

I'd take a look at the Augvape Merlin. Single and dual coil velocity deck options,
large capacity.
I have a goblin mini v3 on the way. Comes with dual build decks. With extension
tube it also holds 4 ml.
I think... at 30 Watts you might be better served with a single coil. But it's subjective.
Also the Griffin 25 plus is out. I like the looks of that wicking setup as well.

They all got juice flow control... a good thing imo.

I think i already wrote most of these in my original post, but here it is anyway.

I'm willing to go with juice flow control if it comes by default with top filling, but I don't think that it does.

I like big clouds but flavor comes first, clouds are a welcome bonus.

Direct to lung with bigger airflow than the Lemo Drop.

Dual coils like stated in the title.

Rebuildable, all the way to wrapping my own coils (not sure why would you ask this since all the attys I mentioned are rebuildable).

Velocity deck preffered.

Like i said, i vape in TC at 30 W and 180° C. Not much power, but its a sweet spot for me and my Lemo Drop build.

Not sure what 'Eleaf Oppo-like wicking channels' are but the Boreas ticks most of your other criteria.

Here's a picture of the Oppo deck. See how nice and big those channels are? (bigger than Lemo anyway) And it doesn't have the wick ring.

Thanks, I'll have a look at the Boreas. :)

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll take a look at the Merlin.

What I meant is I vape at 30 Watts right now, because my build doesn't require more. But of course I'll go higher with a dual coil setup, power isnt really a problem. :)

Ease of build and flavor with clouds sounds like a limitless would tick every box. There are many out there now with a similar design.
There is no chimney on this style so it is more like an rda, which is why flavor is awesome.
Since the limitless plus launched I have seen the original at a good price several places.
Full disclosure I have a boreas too, but have almost retired it since I got my limitless.
Good luck.

You would be surprised the number of people want advice bug have no idea what they really want in an RTA.

Take a look at the Mage, Merlin, Beauris (SP)any RDTA, Limitless, Aromamiser, etc

Best flavor chasing RTAs i ever used is the Goblin Mini and Silverplay nano.

ATM I'm about 80% sure ill go with the Boreas. :)

Any other suggestions?

I think you'll like the Boreas.

Its got its quirks and its not really pocket friendly but once you learn what she likes I haven't found anything close and I'm afraid to say I've bought them all.

IMHO all good flavor tanks make big clouds as a result. But not all cloud tanks make good flavor.

Boreas is an example of a tank that has great flavor and clouds as a result.

Limitless Plus is an example of a tank that shoots massive clouds but very little flavor.

The Aromamizer Supreme RDTA should tick all your box's :)
It comes in 23 & 25 MM. The Boreas does not! only 25mm & the no knurling on the top cap makes it a PIA to remove, also no separate AFC JFC. A con in my books.
My boreas has some (minimal) knurling on the top cap but it can still be a pain to remove if your fingers are slick. I sometimes grab it with a piece of paper towel. The lack of JFC has never caused me wicking issues using the larger juice hole deck and wicking with Rayon.

Billow V3 Plus is my 2nd fave 25mm RTA right now though the fill cap on that can be a bit cticky to slide up but not having to remove it is a nice benefit, and I don't have to do any dance after refilling it to avoid weeping out the AFC.

Mine is slick as snot & a PIA to remove, I have to use a tool most of the time.
The Boreas & Supreme are very similar in performance. But the Supreme has a few better options.
Like separate AFC/JFC, knurling on top & bottom, comes in 23&25 mm. IMO it looks better to :)

I might need to try a supreme. I have a v1 Aromamizer in rotation right now but the draw is a bit restricted even with airflow band removed and stock spitback tip replaced. Nice flavor though and decent clouds.

thanks everyone for your input :)

actually ive had the limitless and avocado on my wishlist for some time now. out of those 2 + supreme, which has the best flavor and vapor production?

I have all three of these atty's :) The problem I find with the new "Genny style atty's" is the coils are on top! with the coils that close to your mouth, I find I get Hot! spit back from time to time. Not! pleasant at all :( The Supreme has excellent Flavour + wide open AFC, if you so desire, I have mine closed off to the smallest slit, & it's a lot of air :)
