I use my passthrough almost exclusively instead of batteries as I work on my puter all day. I almost don't vape at all when off my computer. Over the past month or two I have been having passthrough woes.
The 5v I had been using started getting hotter and hotter and actually started coming apart. I had a second one in the house (gift to hubby that he never used) - it lasted about 3 weeks and started doing the same thing. I don't know what changed that caused this - power from my puter changes maybe? I did try different usb ports.
I did buy and go back to trying the kind that had the battery in it - seems like I'm getting nothing at all from that and find myself switching to batteries.
I bought another 5v - 5v, black soft button led on the end where the wire comes out. it worked great - perfect temp - great vapor - then it completely died all of a sudden. Only $15 and completely pointless to send back for another of the same that won't last.
So, I was looking into a vp-pt passthrough. Yes they are pricey but the reviews and the durability test video are very convincing that this will be a good passthrough to try. For me - as much as I use it, it would be worth the price if it lasted. Problem is the few places I find that list it all have it as out of stock.
Does anyone know where I can find one or of a good reliable alternative?
