I have had it with cartomizers and dct's just can't handle the muted flavor I love the taste of a ce2 but the filling is a real pain so I am looking at getting a good ce2 tank. Wish I could get an mc tank but it looks like they will never have them anymore so I am thinking about a map tank from COV. Can someone tell me if it gurgles when you lay it on it's side like ce2's do also can I get a steel ce2 and cut it and put it in a smoktech tank

Generally I find they will gurgle a bit if you overfill or lay them on their side, other than that they're great. The CE2's fit in tight but can be changed somewhat quickly with a little bit of ingenuity. I tap the dead ones through the cap with a nail and hammer then tap the new one in the same way except I don't tap on the center pin, but the flat spot on the bottom. I have no experience with the Smoktech tanks, can't help you with that.

Original MAP tanks appear in the classifieds often. There are lots of other CE2 tanks and a syringe mod is both popular and cheap. There are many, many threads describing what you need for a syringe mod. Use the search box in your upper right hand portion of any forum page and search "syringe mod" or "ce2 syringe mod".

As for laying them down - it's hit an miss. They'll gurgle a bit, but you can clear it with a couple of sharp drags. That's just the nature of a CE2 however and not really so much a negative attribute of a CE2 tank.
