My current favorite is the Kanger Mini Protank 2, I have two of them. Solid performers, and they look really slick too. I had a Kanger Protank 2, until I broke the glass. I found the regular protank too bulky, too airy draw, and prone to leakage. I won't be replacing it. I have also tried a couple others. IMO, the Protank Mini 2 stands above the rest.

I just realized that you were looking for a CARTO tank.... Sorry, I have no experience with them..

The OP asked about "carto" tanks, not clearos.

Another vote for IBTANKED tanks. A few major advantages:

- Well made, durable, high quality, etc
- Can be customized - patterns, colors, etc... not much extra to pay either - they can be quite beautiful and unique looking
- They come with a container called a "thingie" which provides the easiest, most fool proof way to prime a carto

Here's mine:

So far the Ibtanked is what I'm leaning towards. The price point on it is right where I need it to be. My vape budget is gone for this month lol. I just wish they had the drop test on them like they do on the phiniac tanks. If anyone has any input on the durability on them please post. I'm a firefighter so I'm not gentle on my gear.

If there are anymore glass carto tanks out there I should look at lemme know!!

The IBtanked look like one of the best. Im still on the fence about tanks but ive seen some fairly good deals on tanks. My next one if i continue with carto tanks will be a IBtanked. IMO its worth the price and it comes with some useful supplies.

SmokTech makes a DCT glass carto tank with a metal shield and large windows for about $10. I don't think it can be disassembled though.

I bought a Artemas tank for $9 but i don't think its glass although it feels like glass. It uses the flanged Smokteck cartos and locks them in place with a bottom collar. They might not have enough clearance due to the collar on some mods so you might need a $2 sealed 510 extender.

Ive also got a Kamry X8 and im not impressed with it. It feels like glass also but im told it is not. It uses a set screw to hold the carto BUT now they only ship with one set screw which is also your filler hole screw. If you take a draw without the filler screw in place, it will instantly flood your carto.

I've personally found the Smok's to be a bargain, but I do recognize them as "disposable" due to the fact that the end-caps are fixed in place. Sooner or later, they are either going to offer Pyrex with the locking Artemas (which doesn't yet have glass) or make a locking version of the Pyrex DCT's (V1 & V2). At $10-12 a pop, they are (again, for me) a relatively inexpensive way to have *looks at the shelf* 8 juiced tanks to choose from.

If/when they either add Pyrex to the locking Artemas, or a lock to the DCTs, as the rings in my existing tanks go (once they go, that's that, you gotta pitch 'em, just like a spent carto) I may rotate those yet-unmade tanks into my line-up.
