I believe I have read that this "makrolon" plastic is supposed to stand up better to "tank crackers" than polycarbonate, which apparently a lot of plastic tanks were/are made from. I really can't say, because I don't want to maybe mess up any of my plastic tanks. I did find a Quartz kit on e-bay for about $19, and free shipping; I had been looking at the same exact brand of that one on Kidney Punchers, but theirs is $25 I think, and you have to pay shipping, but of course if you order multiple things from one vendor, shipping becomes less of an issue. I always use the quartz tank for my Pineapple Ice.

Filling the Quartz is a bit of an issue, though; because of how the rings are made that fit on the quartz (with o-rings) they stick out more, so partially occlude the fill-hole; I can't get an 18ga needle down it, but I've found that if I just go slow, it will fill without backwashing and making a huge mess. I really need to get a 20ga needle and see if that will fit better.

Yea with the glass tanks, im a bit concerned of how they'll hold up since they are connected through the o rings and not threads.

I just bought a EHprpo KFL+ V2 on ebay. I've done some research about tanks cracking due to acidic juices that's why I wanna know what other tanks that'll withstand any type of juice. Thanks for your response![emoji108]

I'm not at all sure that any of these tanks will fit a v2 KFL+; you may want to look into that with the vendor before ordering.

I'm finding the quartz tank pretty sturdy, no problems whatever with the o-rings. When I first got it, I noted that there was a slight chip on the outside, right at one of the ends, but I have seen no problems with that, no leaking, no spreading of fracture, so I suppose it's ok. I probably should have sent it back as damaged, but I was too antsy to get some of my excellent pineapple vape into a kayfun. ;)
