Looking for a mod that is the size of an Ego battery but has a bottom button and 510 threading.

I agree - probably the smallest battery one can find for ecigs. Fasttech carries: M11 mechanical, Swig VV, KSD Hybrid and slimzy for this size battery.
I don't have any of theses devices.
A 14500 battery mechanical mod seems what you are looking for. The Simplicity by Super T, Provape-1 by Provape, and the BB from AltSmoke are US-made mechanical 14500 mods you should look into.
I own a black BB, and my daughter has a pink and a purple. There is also a silver vein color which has a textured surface. (first pic below of the BB's)

If you don't mind a mech mod with a slightly larger diameter, the iHybrid Trinity is an extremely lightweight aluminum bodied mechanical mod with a recessed bottom fire button. Available for 18490 or 18650 batteries. iHybrid Trinity mechanical mod

Everyone above has given some good suggestions. However I will add that you want to make sure you get as close to Ego's diameter as possible. I think the Super T one is a nice size for the U Stand (the "Sticker" you got from FT) but anything much bigger than that won't give enough room for whatever tank you're using.
and if you're thinking of using a Kayfun mini you will be best using the stainless steel tank rather than the plastic since the plastic is a bit thicker than the stainless steel.

They're designed to be used with those sizes of tanks so it should be fine. But they're also designed to be used with Egos specifically (although plenty of people use 14500 with them) so you just don't want too big a mod or it won't work. I tried one once with a 14500 chi mech & it would not fit with a kayfun mini at all. It did work with an Evod (well I should say it fit. It didn't "work" because it was too short & you can't change drip tips lol) but it was a tight squeeze. But other 14500s are smaller in diameter so one of those would work fine.

LOL! "Where's Waldo" perfectly describes my usual Fasttech experience! I do like a good challenge every now and then though. (especially if it saves us money!)
