Came home at noon friday, and it had arrived,1&1/2 days in transit!
So grabbed a precharged 18500,the bait and went fishing. So far I really like it,alittle bigger than I was after, but I think it will be great as a work/play knock around p/v.
I need to give it a bit more time but I think Im sold on this purely mechanical stuff.

I think they were looking more at a smaller diameter rather than length.
maybe something like a bulli-elite(German), or sturm mod(Polish). Trying to think of other good 14500 pv's but they are escaping me. By the way, the li-ion that is the size of a triple A is a 10440, and the one sized like a double A is a 14500.
The Preciseplus 10440 is an awesome little guy although it is expensive, lifetime warranty tho.

I have also been looking for something slim and light but something well made that I can have forever. I like the Precise, gorgeous, I have seen both the bulli and sturm but can not find where to buy a sturm. Any Links?

Hey, check out Vaprlife. They have some really small mods.

There's a tiny 14500 mod going for 30 bucks right now, but there's also the 5volt and fix voltage mods that use 2 14270s, which are the same size as the 14500 mod. I had heard some negative reviews a few years back, but overall the device reviews all seem positive. Check out the Pearl FV(5v) or Pearl VV(Variable Voltage) and also the TurboXL FV and VV, and then the VP2 BB is the 30 dollar 3.7v mod. I am going to get either the 30 dollar one or one of the VV ones(can't decide yet) for work, as they are tiny, about the size of an ego battery, but seem to be high quality, and not too expensive.

Here
You are brave. I wouldn't go anywhere near one of those thingz!
You mean what Cookster wrote?
eGo Removable 650mah - Black
What's so evil about it?

Now what about this Gripper, in terms of the original posting?

The Gripper $20
Gripper $20
$20 seems the going rate for the actual mod, but then there's battery cost, + XL atomizer/extender/whatever. Is there something available that's pretty much just like this, but the atomizer enclosure isn't there? Cuz say I yank out a carto without unscrewing it and get juice everywhere and the bottom is then still screwed in. That's gunna be a pain to deal with if I can't easily see or reach the bottom. Also, without having that long tube enclosure, I could use a shorty carto with a swivel drip tip possibly and be supar cool.

What seems to fit the bill though for the Canadian renoman is a mod made from a Hello Kitty PEZ dispenser.

So since I had decided, for a number of reasons, that I wanted a mechanical, and to save the egos for back up and myabe more public vaping,I bought the smokteck telescope.
It was in stock, and in canada,a big plus.
I have seen the videos and posts regaurding the bomb factor, and in my opinion it wont be an issue.

I meant the SMOKTEK TELESCOPE... It's a timebomb

The telescope is working fine for me,I kinda like the 1400 size ego tho, never seen that before.New stuff shows up everyday it seems.
This winter I will likely try my hand at making one that takes a 14 series battery, buying a nice mechanical mod seems hard to do and expensive.
I must say I like the unregulated battery mod, requirers a bit more feel to use, dont know why but I like it.
