Hi guys,
Iv'e been using Kangertech Subvod Mega TC (0.5 oHm) for a while now and it started to fail for some time.
I feel like it takes too much time for the vaping with it to be enjoyable and it feels like I should let it warm up with 15-20 puffs first.
Iv'e tried a VW mod with my tank and it worked better but it's still kind of choking.
I used some other tanks and noticed that they are much more smooth. (iJust S and iJust 2)

So, Iv'e heard about the iStick Pico 75W and wanted to ask here if I should order it.
Also, Can you give me a recommendation for a tank that will work smoothly and will give a nice flavor. (And if you recommend the iStick, a tank that will fit for it.)
My budget for the tank+battery is about 50$
Thank you!

When was the last time you replaced the head (coil & wicking material in a single replaceable unit) ?
They need to be replaced every so often.
I replace the coils, as I have said, I noticed that the problem is with the battery. I used my tank on a VW mod and it worked great but was still a little choking, as oppose to other tanks Iv'e used that gave me a much better experience (eleaf iJust S)

Are you in the US?

if so I found a good deal on the pico kit. With 30% off the list price here. discount code is on their home page and is turkey.

You will need to purchase a 18650 battery and probably a charger to charge with alto it can be charge via the usb port on the pico,

Eleaf Istick Pico Plus Melo 3 Mini Full Kit - $44.00 : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes

Hi, thanks for the help, but I'm not from the US ...
but do you think I should order it? I mean both the Mod and the tank.
Thanks again! ;)

I have had the pico since it came out and I use everyday. Convenient, and pack a punch. You can use any topper on the pico 75W as long as it is 22mm or less wide. Melo 3 is a decent tank but there are others out there you may enjoy more. Any tank that has a 510 threading and fits the 22mm and under size requirement will work.

You could just buy the mod and use the toppers you already have?

:)

Hi,
I know that you can fit almost any tank on it but I want something that will fit it performance-wise.
As, I said I'm looking for a new tank too.
so what other tanks can you recommend?

Personally, I prefer the Melo 2 tank to the Melo 3. Better design imo. But both of these tanks were designed for the pico. And both give a good vaping experience.

Eleaf also has the gs-Air- m tank that I use. It holds 4ml and is a little smaller but really has good flavor.
I am not sure but your ijust topper may fit also, I have just never used one.

I don't have an iJust topper, just used one.
I only have my Kanger TOPTANK that I want to replace.
Is that all the tanks you think will be good?
Waiting for more comments, I want to make a comparison.
Thank you very much :)

Oh you are welcome. I encourage you to wait for other opinions. the ones I listed are only the ones I liked, that have factory made coils. Now if you are into building, that may be a different horse of another color.

I also want to mention that the melo tanks have options to their coils also. You can buy what they call an ECR coil that you can replace coil and wicking yourself. This allows total control of what coils, ohms you may want to use.

The Melos also accept other factory made coils also. Atlantis coils, ceramic cCells, and a few more that escape me atm.

:)

23 mm atomizers fit just fine. I'm using the Obs Engine Mini on one of mine.

pro tank has more air flow options, not just the base which is the same as the toptanks but in the driptip as well. it also depends on which coil you get since they can range from .5 to 1.2 ohms.
I had a 0.15 TC, 0.5 and 1.2.
All of them gave me a hard time from the start. It wasn't that bad, but for some reason it's just gives a harsh feeling in the throat for the first puffs and takes time until it starts vaping smoothly. I can't really feel the taste too...
Maybe it's just me, but every other tank I've tried wasn't doing this.

Brand new tanks and newly installed coils and factory coils need to be properly primed with ejuice and allowed to completely saturate the wicking. Most tanks always do better on the 2nd tankful or if left to set overnight. The harshness you speak of could mean you burnt the coil and wicking a little or that your ejuice has more pg than vg in it. Plus there are different types of nic too. Some vapers prefer a nic that is clear with no taste, others prefer a nic with a throat hit that is slightly darker and has a slight smell/taste to it.

Just saying.

Thanks didn't know that. And i don't have an Obs Engine Mini. I am just getting into different types of tanks myself.
:)
The Obs Engine and Wotofo Sapor are great atties. Top airflow so no leaking. Dual coil though, and I prefer single coils on single-battery mods, but I've plugged the second coil juice holes on both and got them working great with single coils.

Thanks for the explanation, but I already know all that. Iv'e been using this tank for 5 months, primed the coils as I should have, tried various liquids with diffrent nic levels, low VG, high VG and now with max VG and the experience is the best in comparison to the others.
As I said, I really believe that the problem is with these specific coils or tank.
The other tanks I used were totally fine.

There's also a single coil Engine being launched as well. Still 25 mm and 5 ml fill.
