Hey all,
I'm looking for a really good deal on a new kit, not sure what to get, I currently have a ego-t with both type A and B and i'm not really happy about it. I was thinking about maybe a Riva 510 kit or $30 or a ego kit for $45ish. I'm fairly new to all this so I'm hoping someone has some insight.
I'm open to just about anything, I don't know much about drip tips or cartomizers but w/e.

I read something about the sparkplug being on sale which was a really good deal, but I could never find where it was.

I don't like my ego-t because:
muted flavor
muted nic delivery
my type B which fixes these two issues leaks too bad to use

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm happy with my Igo from nhaler. Cost 70 bucks, but you can also use 808's on it. THe big carto's that come with it hold around 3ml of juice for the first couple of uses. Then, like many cartos, it starts to lose it ability to hold as much. But it still holks quite a bit more than a reg carto. The thing also hits like a champ!

I can't seem to find the Igo from that site.

I have 3 carto's for the Igo in action right now. One lasted a little over a week, which was a disappointment imo. It still hits just fine. Just won't hold much juice. I think I ran it to dry. The others seems to be fine though. At 3 bucks a pop, they are expensive. But very handy for not having to mess with them much during the day. A regular carto, like the Bloog, usually last me a week or so before I feel like I'm not getting a great hit anymore. I'm not big on washing them out, so I just toss them.

Just to be clear, I am refilling the regular sized cartos several times a day. Didn't want to sound like the juice in them last a week or so. Just the cartos usefulness. Some folks probably get more, or less use out of them.

I was an atty guy for about8 or nine months. Sometimes you get a good atty, and sometimes you get one that's dead in the box. Or it dies after a day or so. I'm much more satisfied with cartos. Imo, they are much cheaper. A box of 5 for 10 bucks for instance, compared to 1 9 dollar lr atty. So that one 9 dollar atty might last quite a long time. Or maybe not. A 5 week minimum use for 5 cartos for 10 bucks just seems the better route for me. If you get a year usage out of 1 atty, you're the man!

well i've only been vaping for a month, but i've read that a good ego-t atty can last 7 months hence the twice a year purchase

My idea of vaping upkeep is buying juice as needed and buying an atty twice a year for $10 - $12 per.
The carto solution sounds much more expensive

if thats your mindset, then i would stick to that. you could get a go-go from nhaler but once or twice a month you would have to get a new cartomizer...but then again, it would cost you couple bux more per month compared to your ego-t.

If you can make that work, then great. Just with my experience with 901 atty's, once they are done....they're done lol. Yeah they might still give off some vapor, but if you are like me, you want the performance to be there. Some folks are atty gurus. THere is no doubt in my mind that there are plenty of vapers out there that know how to get that extra bang for their buck when it comes to atty's. IT just wasn't for me though. When I wanted a vape, I wanted it right then lol, not after a good cleaning. Good luck though. Hope you find something that works for you.

The ego-t has only been out about 6 months. I'd be *very* surprised to hear anyone got more than a couple of months out of one without tearing it down and re-doing the wick at least. -- I've been using the ego-t since early January and I do like it. It's great for what it is and how I use it. The way it is designed, I could maybe believe the coil can last that long with the occasional thorough cleaning, but the wicks won't.

If i were you, I would not spend the money on a whole new kit. Just pick up a low resistance atomizer and get a ego cone for it. This should only cost you roughly $22 ( 2 Low Res Atomizers, 2 Cones) for two full ego's, or $11 ( 1 Low Res atomizer, 1 ego cone) for one full setup leaving you with and extra ego-t battery for backup.

In other words, your salvaging the cooler ego-t batteries and only adding the needed parts to make it into a regular ego. The difference is , going with the Low Res atty per my suggestion, will have much more vapor, flavor and better nicotine output then a regular ego.

I would do the latter, this way you save some money and still be satisfied...

Low Res 510 atomizer - $8

Ego Cone - $3
Greg at the same link above also sells the ego cone too. Just give him a call and he is always more then helpful. This is usually my goto guy, as he's local to me.

Happy vaping!
