I had the A tank system and did not like it. Got a KGO (ego clone) and am using CE2 deluxe fluxomizers from gotvapes. These are great the fluid capacity of a tank with the convenience of a carto. No filler so you get the best taste. They clean up easy. I am on my third week with the same ones (clean once a week) and they are performing like new. If you are able to solder think about making a Puck mod. The parts can be had for $12 at Radio Shack. I don't know if there are Radio Shacks in Canada but I am sure any local electronics supply will have the parts. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/106016-how-build-puck.html

+1 on a CE2. Much better option over the EgoT. I wouldn't really call the ego battery an upgrade over the volt for anything other than a greater mAh rating. The volt has a higher regulated voltage than the ego does. It's not a world of difference but it is a difference. The only other plus would be being able to use low resistance gear and the "ego booster" from artisan vaping Artisan Vaping | Home of the Ego Booster which would give you 3.2 - 4.7v vv on the ego (but lol it's going to be pretty long with that on there too with a 1100mAh battery). And hey you're better off in Canada to get one because they're made in Canada!

But for the price of all that you're probably better off buying a vv box mod or something or stepping up just a little more money for a really nice vv or some cool box mod that costs half as less an ego.

The battery is maybe the least important aspect of your ecig. Unless you buy a 5v or higher than around the usual 3.7v batteries, it's probably the heating element/device that's going to make the difference. Low resistance atomiser/cartomiser or a CE2 or pretty much just anything but an Ego-T on an ego will feel like a longer lasting equivalent or upgrade.

I have tried several different tank systems and all have leaked and had wicking problems. I think you would be much better off sticking with cartos. A Volt works good but just doesn't have a long lasting battery. I too would suggest the echo 1300 with a 3 ml carto. They will last all day without refilling or recharging. You can also use your volt cartos on them if you want a small carto to test juices.
You can get them at Crop duster for 44.95 a kit SH ECHO KITS : Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52

Smoktek also has them for 43.95 Echo 650-1300mAh Complete Kit

look at this .. Variable Voltage Box Mod, and for the price you can't go wrong !

I'm gonna have to second this suggestion. I built a couple of these from the parts kit (and other supplies), and they're awesome! I have a Darwin, but this thing still gets a lot of use. I especially like using it with SS CE2s running at 3Ω. I started out with an eGO-T system, and the VV box is a huge upgrade. If I'd known how well it does, I probably would have skipped the Darwin during my upgrading phase.. :)

Hey txtumbleweed I'm really liking the look of the Echo there- good suggestion, I appreciate it. If I did go with this will the CE2 fit it as well as on the ego-t? I find this a little confusing as I only have the volt now and haven't done any swapping parts/cartos yet.

The echo is a 1300 mah automatic battery with a 3.4 ml cone carto with a 808 connector. The echo-e has ego type manual battery with 510 threads. I haven't used the ce2's but if they have any leaking issues I wouldn't use them on the echo. The echo carto works great and is the best match with the echo battery.
