Looking for a replacement RY4

So Rebel, do you find this one that similar to Isaac's RY4?

Hard to say since it's been so long since I've tried Iken, like clnire stated, the vanilla isn't really there, but I don't find the caramel overpowering. It's tobacco based for sure but smooth and light. Below is the link for the review by Bill from the RY4 thread.

After a fairly complicated and thorough search I landed on Vapewild's RY4 life. Cheap, clean, tasty as hell.

Ugh! Maybe I don't fully understand what an RY4 should taste like but I thought VW's was god awful. I can't remember if it tasted like musk or fish (I definitely remember their vanilla tobacco tasted like musk).

I, personally, like Mt Baker's GWARY4, though will admit I find it tastes slightly acidic after prolonged vaping.

I have been devastated since Mr Vape closed also. I actually tried to track down the owners so I could ask (beg and cry) for the recipe. No luck with that. I also tried Doodlebugs and it had a bitterness that I did not care for. Not bad just not my cup of tea. I am considering Vaperite VR4 - VR4 Tobacco Line
but I hate the price and will not want to pay that so why even bothering to see if I like it...big sigh.
Was considering trying both Mom and Pops and Altcigs. Both of them had prices I could live with. I might do that next. I have enough Mr Vape to last me for maybe 6 months.

I think it should taste like a caramelly goodness with vanilla highlights and a bit of tobacco TH just enough to thump your throat a tad.

I agree that to ME , VW RY4 was not good (and I SO MUCH wanted to like it !!) - I qwit MtB before I ever tried the GWARY4
had tried this stuff sometime ago, liked it but they stop NIC at 16mg and I'm at 18+ NIC -- anyway, I found the last ¼ of a bottle I had after they sent me an email about a sale last week (ended)
I was impressed (Yum) so took advantage of the sale and it is on its way
just thought I would mention it here, I think it's pretty good and not a bad price... (I mostly DIY anymore using Heartland Vapes HY4)

I never tried Mr Vape, always wanted to, just never got around to it...

That's fair enough! Out of all the ones I tried, it was my favourite.. but granted, i have tried only 7 different RY4's. I didn't really bother trying to find another one after tribeca, as it leaves this taste in my mouth that has me licking my lips after a draw, which for me is a sign of "just stick with it" lol.
I'd be willing to try another one if there's a high Nic version, just for the sake of it. Why not. But I am finding these days that 6mg max and high VG is all the rage with most vendors (i.e zero throat hit of any kind).

PS, 24 mg tribeca in an aspire pockex at 0.6 ohm is a MTL dream with good throat hit. Don't worry about the 0.6 ohm rating, the airflow is MTL tuned and it's perfectly safe to vape high nic in it.

Is the pockx similar to the nautilus x? I have the latter and tried to use 70/30 Tribeca, maybe I didn't let it sit long enough, seemed to have problems wicking... and then it tasted weird.

it does dry hit occasionally like the naut x, but the 0.6 coil is better than the 1.5.. it's a MTL airflow so you can safely use high nic in the pockex regardless of low ohms. Basically it vapes exactly like a nautx but with a better coil (i haven't tried the 0.6 coils in my naut x yet).

Did you saturate the juice holes first? The naut x is a weird thing, i'd let it sit for 2 hrs first, no jokes, and take heaps of dry pulls.. and try the 1.8 coil.
I'm using the PG halo 24mg tribeca in the pockex

I skimmed thru here and didn't see a mention of this - I really like it but they stop their NIC level at 12mg // (good juice for a medium price)

Wow, Mr. Vape is added to the list of casualties of the FDA. Shame, I used to get a lot of juice from them when I first started Vaping.

RY4, my favorite is from Health Cabin and it's the best RY4 I've found. Shipping is expensive since it comes out of China so you need to order in large quantities to make it practical. Luckily my favorite B&M carries it.

Another avenue to pursue is to DiY, it's actually very easy

Charlie Noble - Pistachio RY4

CN PRY4 was my first pistachio vape. Now that I only DIY I have quite a few Pistachio recipes I am vaping and working on. Still got a ton of TFA Pistachio to use up but can't wait to try the Real Flavors SC Pistachio some day in my recipes.

I like CN Pist RY4. Not crazy about either Tripoli or Sollers. I have DIY'd a bit myself and the Pist RY4 is one that seems to always come out right. Wish I could say that about my attempts at RY4's in general. Since MR Vape closed I have tried to make a few and nothing but frustration

I received a bottle of Ohm’s Vape RY4 that was freshly mixed. The vendor recommended 7 to 10 days steep so I have not tried it yet. I like CN Pistachio RY4 and not as much the Smoked Yogurt tobacco which is similar to a RY4 except for the yogurt which I didn’t like so much. Both of these are not replacements for Mr Vape and the Pistachio RY4 is another RY4 flavor for me.

You're lucky you have a 6 month supply, If I would have known their doors would close, I would have bought a couple of liters.
Doodle bug is horrible, it does not even come close to RY4.
My coil taste like it's burned after 3 mini tanks.
I'll keep on looking.

Yes, sorry, 70VG is what I meant. The first run I didn't prime the coil head. I just got new coils, juiced them well and let it sit about 15 min. Much better results! The 1.8ohm are hard to come by, FT has them but I wanted them at reasonable speed. Thanks for the tips!

HA! I just happened to have friends that stockpiled agreed to sell it to me. I wish I had known too because I would have bought a five gallon drum!
