Hey all, I am looking to get a hybrid set up that runs on an 18350. I saw a member post one in the "show your set up" section but I can't find it now to ask what it was. I am not going to be able to spend a ton of money on it but I am shooting for something TINY, the one in the pic that I saw was smaller than the palm of the guys hand and that's what I want something super tiny.

I do not want a tank style hybrid which I have seen a lot of, the idea of using steel mesh isn't appealing to me so I just want a straight dripper hybrid.. Where do I look?? I've tried searching and can't find what I am looking for, hope you guys expertise can help me out here. TIA!

This is an 18650 setup.
The 18350 is tiny

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1416893173.340298.jpg

Compared to a fairly short mod also in 18650

I have an 18500 setup as well, but I am currently on a job and not at home.

This wpuld be exactly what you are looking for. I dont personally have the 18350, but I have seen them, and they will dissapear inside a closed fist.

Sorry for the poor quality. Something has scratched the lens of my phone camera

Well in terms of drippers, the 3D is designed to work hybrid with the nemesis, and you can set up the nemesis in 350 mode.

In terms of tanks, you certainly don't have to use steel mesh; you can use a kayfun type with cotton.
the heron can thread hybrid to m20x1 mods and it comes with a m20x1-to-m21x1 adapter so you can also connect it hybrid to m21x1 threaded mods also.

I am sure there are others, but most writeups don't mention what threading is used.

Here's one: ELA rda:

Can I ask why?

In my experience, the vdrop is too high. It can certainly be done, its just that almost any other well built mod will do it better.

Edyle

Thats the first Super T clone stuff that I have seen.
Have you tried it? The Strata is one of my favorite attys ( that is a Strata clone, an ELA is the Super T Telescoping mod)

So your post should have read: I wouldn't recommend the 4nine for dripping if you plan to go into the low sub-ohm area where voltage drop makes a difference and you shouldn't be using 18350 batteries anyway.

Also, everything that I've seen says the 4nine has lower voltage drop than most other mods, which would make sense considering the design.

Wow. Thank you for saying that I suggest subohming on a 350 series battery.

Sorry, but the drop on a 4Nine will be considerably more than other mods suggested here, such as the Nemesis. Its good, but others are better.

Mine suffers from a hot button. I have spoken with others that have the same problem. From my experience, I dont like it.
Others do.

Typical internet.

I think you misunderstood my post. The OP is asking for an 18350 dripper, you say the 4nine isn't good for dripping because of the voltage drop. I'm saying voltage drop isn't really important unless you're going below 0.4ohm which you shouldn't do on an 18350 battery anyway.

As for voltage drop, I'll admit that I haven't looked into it too much, since it doesn't really effect my vaping, but according to this guy's tests http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/mechmods/625013-massive-voltage-drop-testing-requests.html the 4nine is a top performer. That would seem to make sense since you are eliminating a connection point between the battery and the center pin of the atomizer.

I think we've got a winner here. I love the idea of being able to swap battery sizes. My wife and I got AR mods and are having nothing but trouble out of them so being able to slap in a 650 and use our .2 builds and then being able to put a 350 in there with a 1ohm dripper sounds pretty appealing.

To the other poster who said 350 batteries won't handle sub ohm, I thank you for mentioning that, I'm not really looking to go super low on this one, more like a small easy to stick in a pocket thing as opposed to the big 650 ones that we use now..

Does anyone know of a hybrid that would fit on a Panzer mod? I bought one the other day and I realized that it was modular! For some reason I have been looking at panzers but didn't realize you could swap battery sizes, so not I have a good mod just need a hybrid to fit it so I can make the tiny 350 set up I am looking for.. In addition to that I also got a plume veil and I will say if anyone is on the fence about one of those, go for it. I am extremely pleased with the plume, it in combination with the panzer is amazing.

You need to find out the threading on the panzer.
It might be M21x1 which is the same threading on the vamo and zmax and chiyou and king.
It might be M20x1

I think nemesis uses m20x0.5

Now if you get one of these:
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1830408
(a clone of the GP Heron)
It hybrids with M20x1, and has a thread adapter to also hybrid with M21x1
(or you can just use it in 510 mode).

The 3d rda hybrids with nemesis threaded mods.

This ela clone
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011609/1805805-ela-style-rda-rebuildable-dripping-atomizer
hybridizes with ela clone mods
$26.98 ELA Styled Telescoping Mechanical Mod - stainless steel + brass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

this elm rda
$12.63 Elm Style Hybrid Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / hybrid connector for Tree of Life mod at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
hybridizes with treeoflife mods.
(It's 22mm diameter so I'm guessing it hybridizes with m21x1 mods.
