I bought an Atlantis a few months back. It is my first and only sub ohm tank. I should mention it is miles above all of my previous clearomizers which, frankly, aren't even worth mentioning. My BIG issue is taste. The flavor is often slightly bitter or generally off when compared to the same liquid in an Emow.

I was hoping someone could recommend an alternative sub ohm clearomizer that may address this issue. Heres the catch. I'd rather not start from scratch if i don't need to. I generally us a CF mod and have a bunch of 18650s on hand.

Part of me is afraid I'll feel this way about all sub ohm tanks. I guess I expected more flavor with sub ohms not an entirely different flavor.

I started with nautilus minis then got an Atlantis and thought it was great for a while but drifted back to the N minis for taste and vapor quality I liked better. I've only been at this for 6 months and haven't tried dripping. Here is what I think I know at this point. The best flavor might come from dirpping because you can super saturate the coil with liquid beyond what is possible wicking through little feed holes. That might produce a very dense vapor and more flavor. Lately most of my vaping is on a Kanger sub mini RTA and an Egrip RTA (I'm tired of buying expensive coil heads. To get a vape similar to the N minis I use the same ohm coil, the same 10-15 watts and the same tight draw. My Alantis is not getting used. In the early months I was a big time lung inhaler. I got tired of that and I'm back to mouth to lung for the flavor and vape quality. May be in a few months I'll know something different but that's where I'm at today.

Surprisingly I was looking at the Nautilus Mini and the Kanger sub mini recently. I've tried the Nautilus before and was happy with it. The only fault i can remember was leakage into the stem. Since I'm not certain I want to give up on the whole sub ohm thing I was also looking at the sub mini. I haven't tried one personally. I would hope it's supposed versatility would allow me to modify it more towards what I'm looking for. There has to be something out there that offers a strong hit without completely destroying flavor.

If you look at the coil wrapper, the occ has instructions and the ceramics just have "aspire" written on them.

Just looked and you're right the wrapper does have instructions on it. You learn something new every day! I can tell a nice difference in the way they vape. Seems like better flavor and a more saturated vapor.
