I bought a bunch of capella flavors and was wondering what is your favorite concoction. I also would like to know what flavors need a lot of steep time.

I just started getting into Capellas. An easy one I found on ECF, was a single flavor Peanut Butter at 10%. I actually like it better with 5% capellas PB, and 5% TFA PB.
I'm guessing this is really like cooking nobody likes giving out there recipes including myself.

I really liked Str8vaping recipe with raspberry and cheesecake. You can find it in the recipe part of the forum. He has a couple of Capellas recipes he posted that are really good.
I found the capella recipe thread and it looks awesome! I also had to order some more flavors so I can try some of these delicious recipes.
It may sound odd, but, I'm sort of enjoying this:
6% Strawberries and Cream
6% Chocolate Glazed Doughnut
both Capella flavors.
I also really like the Chocolate Glazed doughnut on its own, as well as the Chocolate Fudge Brownie. The Vanilla custard tastes like sugar cookie, so, mix whatever you think would go good with a cookie with that flavor. I really need to try more Capella flavors, alas, I've been distracted as of late.

The great thing about Capella's is when you find your level, it is the same for most of their flavors. So if you like bubble gum at 10%, you will probably like orange creamsicle, pina colada, spearmint, etc. at 10%. They tailor their flavors this way.

I chose Capella because of the flavor consistency I think it will be easier for a beginner. I'm a little embarrassed I ordered a lot of different Capella flavors.
What can I substitute for TPA bav cream 1.5%
I don't know if the TPA 1.5% is stronger or weaker than the Capella flavors.
Believe me, none of us will judge excessive shopping. We all do that on a regular basis. No embarrassment necessary.

Hum ... if you have TPA Bavarian Cream ... just use that ... I do. I like it.
I personally don't know of a "substitute" for Bavarian Cream in Capella's, I just use TPA or FlavorWest brand - that's what I have, and both okay to me.

I didn't see anything on the capella's site that looked like it would be a good substitute for bav cream. The only thing that may work is vanilla custard. I see you have it, so give it a try. Just make a small batch so if it isn't good you haven't wasted a lot of supplies.

I personally only vape "sweets". So, here's a few recipes for you.
You can make these exactly as stated, or you can adapt them to your personal tastes (that's what I do).
I also adapt a lot of recipes to include Cap's Peanut Butter.
