It doesn't get any cheaper than rebuilding your own coils. A Protank 2 with or without an airflow adapter is quite nice and relatively cheap. The coils are about $1 a piece and quite easy to rebuild.

But if you just want to test flavors it may be more convenient to use a dripping atty. An Igo-W is pretty cheap and works great. No need to buy coils, just get some kanthal wire and rebuild the coil to your hearts content.

I wish I knew how to link to other threads in this forum. There is an old thread in the New Members section something like "what do you use when your (yes it is spelled like that in the title) wanting to try out a lot of flavors" that answers a lot of this and gives links to where to buy 510 attys, etc.

When I try flavors, I just drop 2-3 drops in the atty, take 5-10 puffs (or until it starts tasting burnt and then try another flavor. When I am done with that "session" I rinse it and give it a good vodka soak, followed by a hot water bath, let it air dry for a day or two, and repeat.
