I am looking for DIY recipies.

What do commercial juice manufacturers use for flavoring? Do they use Lorann? I would think it would be too expensive for them. What properties must a flavoring have to make it suitable for vaping? What properties must it not have?

What actually makes up te bulk of the cost of e-juice, the nicotine or the flavoring?

You should read the stickies at the top of the page. They've got a lot of information about what to look for in the flavorings. If you use a single flavor type juice, the nicotine and base will likely be the most expensive part, but it depends on what level of nic you're using, too. I use a very low nic level, which means my expense for that is considerably less than someone who uses a very high level. Some of these things have so many variables that you cannot give a precise answer. Start with this stickies and read, read, read. And then read some more.
