I'm posting this in the veterans forum because a lot of you use HV devices. Right now I'm using a Prodigy V3 with Ikenvape's HV 510 atty's. Apparently these do not go well with this device. (I emailed Isaac from Ikenvape about the issue and one of his first responses were 'You wouldn't be using a V3 would you?') There was a big draw issue on their 510's. After the first day they started failing... So now I'm looking for a new vendor that has good performing HV 510 atomizers that work well with the V3. Thanks!!!

Actually, I am not an HV device or atty user. However, I'm pretty confident that the HV 510 atomizer PureSmoker sells would work well on its Prodigy V3.1. And I see that it is Joye 510, so a true HV Joye 510 atomizer (from whatever supplier) should work well also.

That said, HV attys come in various resistance levels:

  • I am surprised to see that what PureSmoker sells is listed as ~3.2 ohms. [As Steve (CaSHMeRe) pointed out in reply to your similar question in the PureSmoker forum: not that different from IkenVape's 3.5 ohms HV 510.] At 6V, that would yield a very intense 11.3 watts and not as safe 1.9 amps. In that same post, Steve suggested: "either slowing down or pulsing the button" to keep the atty from frying.

  • Heaven Gifts goes the other way and sells 5.0 ohm "HV6" Joye 510 atomizers specifically for 6V, yielding a sweet 7.2 watts and safe 1.2 amps.
If I were in your shoes, I'd order one of PureSmoker's HV atties and one of the 4.5 ohm atties ... and see which works best.
