A lot of juice makers give free samples out once you order some of their juices. It's rare that any will give free samples without first ordering from them.

i think that is an over-generalized statement... and you are correct, we don't know the situation - but we are willing to welcome them regardless!
if it is a situation where financial constraints are the issue, the PIF thread is a great place to get some assistance (folks willing to pay it forward - donating gear, juice they no longer need or use to folks who have a need)... though, when i made the jump, spending the money i spent on stinksticks previously did make the transition a bit easier, and affirmed - for me - my commitment to making the change
regardless, there are plenty of contests on the forum for free stuff - not aware, off the top of my head, of any specific free samples opportunities, though perhaps someone more knowledgeable will weigh in!
Quite possible, having said that, perhaps mentioning any hardship would alleviate such commentary.

Actually the best method is the various contests on the Suppliers Forum where everything from juice to full blown kits are won on a weekly basis, some are massive in the prizes won!
OH and they never/rarely get ugly like standing in line at a trendy night club can get, the people who play are all genuinely courteous and supportive of one another.
