Sure there's the 8ml Kraigen at $29 msrp, but here is a 5ml upgrade tank for only $12!

To me 5ml should be enough for my ADV, as I fill 2+ times per day avg. The 8ml Kraigen might be too much capacity!

Sun Vapers Aspire Atlantis 5ml Upgrade Tank

Not due out until 1/31!

Looks promising in that it retains more of the stock Atlantis parts and it appears to just be a longer castle breath tube and tank.
My Atlantis doesn't leak and I want to keep it that way!

Those 5ml tanks are available now direct from Aspire, i got 2 on the way. And 2 extra Atlantis bases at $13/each, good deal for $25 you get a 5ml complete Atlantis tank but w/o the 2 coils (& $2 extra for stock drip tip), i used the savings to buy 5 coils.

The Atlantis is such a battery hog that i dont mind just using the "older" 2ml versions on mechs for diff flavors, in some ways the .5 coils work better on mechs anyway. By the time i have to refill the 2ml tank it's time to recharge a single 18650 anyway.

(for Nemi fans) Besides, I cant tell much if any difference w/.5 coils on a $150 30watt mod vs a $17 brass Nemi clone (w/an extra $15 spent on colored aluminum tube, hi-quality magnets, & cheap 7A "safety" fuse - which the .5 coils work great on w/brass+alum Nemi (copper too) but not w/ SS version - just enough extra voltage drop w/SS that it wont work w/ the fuse).

Works great on the Aspire CF mech mod too, but it's rather tall, & since it has "protection" down to .3 i am now using it w/ rda's instead.

But the .5 coils also work great (even better in some ways) at 34 watts on a regulated dual parallel 18650 mod, just prefer a longer drip tip at that wattage, which 34 watts will also drain 2 18650's enough to recharge by the time a 2ml tank needs a refill.

Regardless, 5ml tanks will be way more convenient. Just sayin that the 2ml tanks (esp the hollowed versions being all ss) will have their place for those who like multiple flavors & already have lots of mech mods.

Got the 8 ml Kraigen tank too, put it on a dual parallel 26650 mech box. It was easy to install, i filled it before attaching the base. As for refilling it - haven't had to yet due to rotation, but may just unscrew the base to refill ? Dont know yet if the top fill can be done totally leak free ? Haven't tried it yet. Only bought 1 Kraigen & waited for the 5ml tanks to come out for that reason. 5mls is plenty & guaranteed no leak refills.

Would really be great to hear if others who have the Kraigen are able to top fill it w/no leakage ??

Seriously one tank full at 34w shouldn't drain 2 good fully charged 18650's I wouldn't think.

It doesnt fully drain them, just down to 3.92 volts or so w/ real vtc 4's & 3.85 or so w/ LG he2's, not really enough power left to comfortably do another 2ml tank with, so i just swap em out when refilling. Also i fill to the max possible & dont refill til juice level is within 1mm or so of the intake holes on the coil. A 5ml tank will Really drain those batts at 34w, so may have to use my last 2 real vtc 5's cuz Samsung 25r's wont fit in that mod. (the he2's i got have not been the greatest batts, 25r's seem better)

But 5ml tanks will be much less hassle, no need to fill to max, & i certainly wont be draining them almost to the intake holes.

On my mechs the same fill & refill levels (but starting at 26w & ending at 23w) only discharges single Samsung 25r's to 3.87-3.97 volts or so (same w/ my fake vtc 5's which i'm fairly sure are 25r's), so it's possible to get more time b4 recharging but i rather just swap in a fresh batt on a mech when refilling the 2ml tanks. (once i get the 5ml tanks all the 2ml versions will be on mechs w/ diff flavors in rotation)

Atlantis has quickly become my main vape, it runs 20/80 VG juice hassle free, & no more dehydration from too much PG, so i'm fine w/the battery hog part.

Edit- guess what i was trying to say b4 was that the 2ml tank is actually almost the perfect capacity for a mech mod, Aspires CF protected mech being a great example, and will run out of juice just as battery gets to where it realistically needs a charge to keep up w/ that coil.

Wow, 5 ML, nice. II need to get this, as I would like bigger capacity. I only worry the flavor willl be lost a little as it will have more distance to travel from the coils. But I may need to order this, a new rubber sealer, and the metal sleeved Nautilus tank, as my last one broke at the threads. Will be a $30 order, but I get to be able to use my two tanks again. Then again, using my Nautilus makes me a bit sad, after the Atlantis.

I keep an old nautilus on a wood mod that cant handle lower than 1.7ohms, but only rarely take a puff.
You may or may not want to consider a Silo tank at $35, it's a smooth ss top covered Nautilus 5ml glass tank, runs naut bvc's, & has a bigger airflow slot in base twice the size of the OG Naut, & wider bore drip tip. I got it to use up bvc's cuz i couldn't deal w/ the weak airflow of the OG Naut anymore. Beyond Vapes has them.

tank49:

I am looking at getting the 5ml tank, base, and drip tip. Am I right that with my 2ml Atlantis, that will give me both a small and 5ml Atlantis tank with me adding my own coils?

Also, I have never used Paypal. If I sign up and use a credit card for payment, that should take care of it? Paypal said there was "a small fee" for purchases outside the US. If so, how much is it if you know?

Thanks for the info. I looked all over the net and can't find anyplace selling the base, so this is the only option I have been able to find.

1st question = yes

paypal = yes sign up w/ any cc, it is the safest way to pay for international orders, pp charges your card & vendors never see the cc info. (you will checkout at vendors by secure sign in to your pp acct, intl or ebay or wherever)

i dont recall ever being charged a fee for intl orders, & i buy stuff from FT too, not sure what that may be about ? maybe the vendor gets charged ? IDK for sure ?? ( Edit - i think i know what that's about ? - diff credit cards have their own policies on intl orders, some charge a fee, some don't, you may want to check w/your cc provider ?? If pp is charging a fee for intl orders that's news to me. )

Aspire is also the only place i ever saw the authentic bases available separately, going back to the OG Nautilus.

hope that helps...
