Looking for input on an eGo Adapter

Looking to see if anyone has first hand info on the 510 to eGo Adapter that fasttech sells.
I'm not looking to use it for it's intended purpose but as the connector for a build I'm doing.
From the pictures it shows an air passage cut into the center pin on the tank side and the battery side is smooth.
What I would like to know is if the center pin can be puled out and reversed.
Using this would allow me to thread this onto the tube vs using an epoxy.

I've got one but use it to connect an ego type clearomizer to the ohm meter etc. I bough it hoping to make it work with and ego threaded clearomizer in 808 treads but still no luck find one that will work for ego to 501 to 808.

You can get that same thing from local places like Empire Mods for three bucks and I'm sure you'll be able to email them with questions.
