I have an innokin iTaste SVD mod coupled with my new Omega rda. The guys at the local vape shop in Tempe, AZ set it up for me but mentioned that my mod being chipset limited and can't sub-ohm, wont get full potential from my new rebuild-able tank. I'm using 28 gauge wire and organic cotton.

Can anyone mention a few good mods that will go sub ohm so I can get some fatty clouds ? :D

many thanks.

The new clone of the HANA DNA30 will go up to 30 watts which is quite a bit compared to the 12 of the SVD. It will fire down to about .3 ohms. It only cost $70.

Mechanical mods require you to know a lot more about safety, since you can really hurt yourself. You need to learn about ohm's law, battery safety, and building safety. Clones of mechanical mods can be had for around $30 and since they are little more than a tube with a switch how much YOU like the way it looks is very important.

I, probably my OCD, feel safer when I am using a regulated mod.

I have not yet felt the need to go below 1 ohm, except when I tried vapin donuts at .95, and have used my SVD to drip.

Of course you should do what makes you happy. Just because I am happy without going below 1 ohm does not mean you should not. However please be careful.

About a year ago .5 ohms was considered pushing it and only a mechanical could do it. Now regulated mods can go to .3.

I had a Nemisis clone, but I think I had a bad button or something. I do know that little brass pin kept on falling out.

Sometimes when I would set it up, it would fire when I would turn it upside down. I had two prolonged unintentional firings with the safety lock on, one inside a glove compartment for about 5 minutes and one inside my pocket until I felt the heat. I threw it away.

I do think that it was a bad button or something, I think I might just stick with my Reos and Provari, although I have been looking at getting another mech recently.

Any mech mod will be suitable. It is just a matter of preference....

Personally, I think the Magneto clone is a fantastic mech mod. I have a sting ray as well, which is also really nice, but I prefer my Magneto.
