This is my second thread.... In my first thread I was looking for advice on upgrading from my newbie rip-off kit. For my first upgrade, I purchased two standard Volt batteries from Smokeless Image. One was auto... one manual... standard cartomizers.

The batteries are definitely longer than my newbie mini setup... almost too long for my personal preference... but definitely doable. I love that they last so much longer between charges. Here is my issue.... Standard Volt batt ... standard carto... great vapor... no throat hit.... it seems as if there is so much air that it dilutes the flavor of the liquid. I passed the system on to my husband and went back to my newbie setup. I would like to find a system with a battery no longer than the 65mm volt.... and a carto or clearo that can be drip filled (no syringe). I need to be able to taste the liquid.... and my newbie setup delivers more flavor than the one I got from SI.

Any suggestions?

Thank you so so very much!

Vivi nova. I'm not sure if this will fit this volt 65mm batt as i have no idea what that is lol. But as far as convenience, flavor and vapor production, id say its definitely the way to go. Just make sure it is a genuine vision vivi, got vapes has them for a pretty good price. Also their Phoenix bottom coil clearo seems to get alot of praise, but i think it has to be filled with a syringe (included with the clearo)

That small size battery limits you a lot. I don't think you can do much better unless you are willing to go with a bigger more powerful battery. Sorry. Get at least a cheap ego for when you are at home and no one is looking. :)

So... you think it's the size of the battery? My newbie battery is smaller than the Volt... much smaller... yet I get a better flavor.... Does this have to do with resistance?

No the battery only limits you in vape time most batteries should be putting out around 3.7 volts and the resistence is all in the atomizer used. So a lower resistence atomizer means hotter coil which means more vapor etc. So you may be onto something as in the cheapo ecig might have a lower resistence atomizer than what you used on your volt, however i think its the cartos that mute flavor. I would normally agree with desmond about the vivi nova but they have a muted taste and if your trying to get a better taste I would stay away from them for now plus they might be too big and bulky for what you want.

So... I need to find a cart with a lower resistance atomizer..... and make sure that the battery I use with that is made for lower resistance. I would love to try the Phoenix clearo but having needles like that in the house is a deterrent. There are SO many websites selling products... I am mind-boggled!

I've had six vivi novas (currently have three [I work at a vape shop, I use a lot of products haha) and I have found that they do put kind of a "mute" on taste. Bridgeless adomizers will give you huge clouds of vape, but you only get about twelve puffs from four drops. They will give you heck of a lot more flavor though, that's for sure.

I am not positive but I do not think the Volt Vapes at 3.7v. I have them. They are not as strong a hit as an ego type battery. And I love the Vivi Novas but don't like the Phoenix clearos. I really recommend an ego type battery and mini Vivi nova for it at about 1.8v. They are real easy for newbs. Just unscrew the top and pour your juice in.

Try one of the larger Smokeless Image batteries called the X2 before spending money on an entirely new setup. They are essentially an eGo battery with 808 threading.

Better yet, one of the new X2 Spinner batteries, which is Smokeless Image's rebranded vision spinner variable voltage battery. The cartomizers and other juice delivery devices that SI offers all work with each other. The X2-T3 by Smokeless Image is a rebranded Kanger T3 clearomizer.

Correction on the above entry...I meant a mini viv nova at about 1.8 ohms. duhhh!
