Hey guys, looking for a suggestion here. I have had my Pilot from Pursmoker for a few weeks now. My main issue with it, is that vapor, throat hit, and flavor seem to vary wildly. If I pop in a new atomizer, it starts like a champ again, but after 2 days or so its starts dropping off. I really don't want to have to clean atomizers every 2 days. Also the cartridge is really small and doesn't last long enough for me (or provide good vapor, throat hit, as compared to dripping).

I want something that will slap me in the throat, have a good cart size, and perform a little more consistently. I was thinking about the DES801 from Heavens Gifts. What do you guys think?

i wasn't all that impressed with the dura-c, its nice, but i like a long cartridge life and the dura-c didn't hold enough liquid for me to be satisfied, and the liquid leaks like a faucet so i can never carry it around. I'd have to say that my 801 never lets me down, the carts last for a few hours on heavy vaping, the throat hit is great, paired with my TW marlbro liquid it's as good as the real thing (almost........:) so i say go for the 801 and get some empty carts and a nice bottle of quality e-liquid. The downside is that its big and looks dainty so breaking it in with your bar buddies isn't an option for me. But it def is my home for the night e-cig.

i got all my 801 kits and parts from ruyan direct, but that was before all this ban nonsense starting coming about, the prices are cheaper, but shipping is more, however if you're going with bulk orders, like i did, the 20 dollar flat rate shipping fee is well worth it for over 30 items.

You will get different recommendations I am sure but being that I have tried super minis (mini fogger), minis (DSE901, Dura), penstyles (801, kissbox) and mods (magnum mod, screwdriver, juicebox/nicostick) I feel that I have dabbled in all of the form factors and can honestly say that I prefer the screwdriver over everything else out there right now. If you are not comfortable with a mod form factor and have to have a device that looks somewhat like a cigarette then I would suggest the Dura or any 510 variant. I recommend the Dura because of the warranty replacement response I have gotten from Janty is better then most. If it is not a matter of form factor but you don't want to spend the cash on a screwdriver and are mechanically inclined I highly recommend a juicebox/nicostick build. They are easy to build and perform very well. I hope that helps.

As I write this my 401 seems to have come back to life for no reason at all :?:

I'm not quite ready to pop down the dough for a screwdriver yet. I'm trying to get my girlfriend to switch too, and I think it might scare her off :)

The 801's price on ruyan direct is really attractive, but I haven't heard much about it's throat slapping.

When I am out and about is when I really need it to work, otherwise I tend to bum analogs.

I am going with the 510 for now. Just spent the last few hours going through some posts and watching videos. Thanks for all your suggestions.

I went through many kits myself with the Smoking Everywhere (4081 I think) and the 901. My favorite by far is the 510. My second favorite is the 306 which is the BEST Super Mini One good thing about having both the 510 and the 306 is that the parts are interchangeable. I can't wait for my PCC and USB passthrough to come in. Should be bliss.

Just looking for WV to post about the Mods and Screwdrivers... I know its coming:pop:. LOL...sorry, had to say it!
My best,
-VP

PS:

Im working on a Mod just for him. Its going to be a screwdriver mod, with a jet engine passthru, creating 700,000,000 volts of battery power. It will take 4000 gallons of e-Juice, but the vapor that you will get from this will put the Kodak smoke stacks to shame. (Anyone in Rochester NY knows what Im talkin bout!)

Just busting your b*lls WV! (sort of ;))

BE112(801) from BesteCig are amazing. I have not touched my NPRO or my Pilot in a week since I got the Be112. Amazing vapor, easiest draw, great flavor, no complaints as of yet, except it's a little hard to drip but that's fine.

If you're looking for something closer to a real cig, try the 510 as many others have said.

Also, why do you have a pic of you and hooters girls bugeater? ROFL that's kinda sad.
