Hi guys,
I purchased myself an MVP3.0 Pro 60W about 3 months ago after hating my old ego thread beginners kit and loving my friends MVP3.0 30W. It came with the iSub G tank which I have been using but am rather underwhelmed with as it gives a decent hit but with the cost of very little flavour coming through after the first couple of puffs. I have looked into dripping as an alternative but decided that I don't really enjoy the idea of having to keep refilling. I have seen that the Smok TFV4 is currently one of the highest recommended tanks however it seems that 60W is no where near adequate to power the 3 or 4 coil cores that comes with it, plus the diameter is too large meaning an overhang on the mod which would honestly bother me. But then I saw the TFV4 mini version which would seem to fit nicely and come with a dual coil core which gave me a little hope. I am quite fond of a few features presented on the TVF4 such as the second set of air holes on the drip tip and the top filling hatch. I was wondering whether the 60W that I have would be enough to power the dual coil in the TFV4 mini. If not, is there a tank out there that you would recommend that would perform well on the MVP3.0 Pro.
Thanks

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
You should be able to get decent but not contest-winning cloud from the TVF4 in the 40-50 watt region, no matter what coil you use. The problem you're likely to hit is longer ramp up time (wait until the coils get hot enough to make vapor) using super-multiple coil heads. With a dual head, it shouldn't be a huge problem. You might also look at the iSub Apex. They have coils down to .2Ω rated 20-50 watts and, apparently, Clapton wire too. That ought to get fairly cloudy.

That's what I was thinking, I think I will just have to ditch the super sextuplet coil that comes with the mini and use the dual coil and after that has reached it's life turn to the RBA deck that comes with it. I had a look at the iSub apex tank and it looks like a decent tank and also uses the same coils that I use at the moment. I am currently using a 0.2ohm iSub coil. A question about the RBA deck on the TFV4 mini, it says it is a single coil deck but it also says on the smok website that is has 4 posts. Why would this be?

Thanks.
