Picked up two of the basic eGos. One has the normal wick setup, guessing CE4? Just like you'd find for $30 at any shop. Anyway, the second has a T2 blow tank.
Not a big fan of the CE4, really. Does the job, but seems you have to replace the whole...thing...whereas with the T2 you can replace just the inside....thing...with the wick. Technical terms. Yup. Basic eGo batteries.
I also picked up an eGo Twist, with the dial at the bottom, and an EGo V passthrough. Both of those have tanks with cartomizers. Nothing fancy. One has the black ends, the other is a bit bigger with silver ends. Nothing too fancy, but definitely my favs.
Anyway, for the CE4 and the T2 on the basic eGo batteries, what would you recommend? Something different atop? Different internals? Different batteries aren't really an option right now, and I kinda like the smaller size. They hit pretty smooth, making them ideal for driving so I'm not killing my throat. Flavor blows, and it definitely seems more from the wick setup than the juice. Kinda plasticy and sometimes burnt. I've tipped the juice to avoid the burn. Plastic taste lingers.
So, open to options. Low long term maintenance is good, but more maintenance for less replacement purchases is also fine. The forum hasn't steered me wrong yet, so just throw it out there.
