What I hope to find is a tank the size of the Air with the ease of building of the Kayfun and it needs to be a 19mm so it looks good on my Provari mini.
So I looked though dozens of posts on ECF for advice plus I googled several tank reviews and I have narrowed it down to a Kayfun mini V3. What do you think? Is that the one? Any other tanks you recommend? And if the K mini is the one would a clone be ok to buy because I cant find an authentic one & couldnt afford it if I did.
Appreciate your help.
I looked at it. Very cute. Would it work with a 1.5 built? And I've never seen a coil like that. Do you know how many mLs it holds? Couldn't find out anywhere.I'd say the 21mm Wismec Theorem. Rebuild it into non-sub ohm or like .8 and rest is very easy peasy and it will NEVER leak. $20 to boot.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Lots of good stuff to choose from.![]()
Interesting coil design.I believe the Wismec Theorem holds about 2.7-3mL of juice. I don't see why it wouldn't work with a higher resistance coil, but certainly some tanks do better with higher resistance than others. Kayfuns and kayfun style (the v1 Subtank/Subtank Mini RDAs are Kayfun style) are basically meant for slightly higher resistance coils and MTL vaping, which is why so many people have recommended that style. However, there is no inherent reason you can't put a 1.5ohm coil in a theorem. I am not sure how restrictive the airflow can get, though. I don't own one myself.
Arghh!!! And I just placed an order with FT.SXK corolla.

I've got a couple of them and can't say enough good things about them!
The v2 (or 1.5) comes with three sizes of tanks
@HootOwl the biggest one I'm thinking of is my Tugboat 2 clone (a "Flawless Steamboat) from 101Vape. It's really quite good for a $17 atomizer. The post holes are a little small but for MtL that's not really an issue with the size wire one would normally use. Personally I think that's the best marriage between usability and a decent vape... There are some other smaller atomizers like the a6 (?) or the tiny SMOK octopus which were truly meant for mtl but those take more effort to make work.
Thanks for that. Interesting. Something (else) to look into and learn about
Yeh any atomizer with a removable pin can be turned into a squonker, basically.
ed: @ChickenWing yes, very small, but probably not able to be restricted enough for the Mouth-to-lung vape the OP is looking for.
The Serpent is an RTA I liked when I first saw pictures of....then I guess ive forgotten all about it. Does it have big juice channels in your opinion? I only vape 100%VG and remember thinking the serpent looked promising. Also I will never build dual coil- is serpent mini single coil only? May take a little stroll over to google now and see for myself until you can reply..... thanksThere's a new Goblin mini v3 due out. It will offer a dual Velocity deck and a single deck (side Velocity deck like on the Merlin), as well as an extension kit if you want to increase volume to 4 ml. Obviously not in hand yet so no idea if it will have leak issues or not. It otherwise looks like and attractive solution.
Oh, there are also 2 new version of the Serpent coming out. A Serpent Mega (3.5 ml) with a dual deck and a Serpent Nano with a single coil deck. There's also the new Serpent Mini 25 mm (I know, the naming conventions are awful) which will offer 4 ml of volume and single and dual coil decks like the Goblin. It is a 25 mm tank though, so while it's not tall it is wide if fitting a mod is an issue.
