Looking for some help with builds

I having been vaping and using rebuildables for some time now but I took a break for awhile and now it seems like I cant build anything that compares to how I used to be able to.

What kind of builds are you guys using on different mods and attys?

I recently built a mutation x using 22 gauge kanthal 5/6 wraps and using it on a vanilla 18650 with a 35amp subohm cell battery. The flavor is good, but the amount of vapor is slightly disappointing, after looking online at similar builds it seems like I many have not used enough cotton(currently using puff organic Japanese cotton) any suggestion on ways to increase the amount of vapor production without losing the flavor?

Also what kind of builds do yall use on 26650 attys? I have a Chi Megan with a nucleus that I built as a quad coil setup(24 gauge nichrome can't remember the number of wraps) and seem to get good flavor and vapor production. I also have a 26650 tobh built with a dual coil setup using the same wire but with 7 wraps that is on a hades, the flavor I am getting is alright but seems to be lacking while the vapor production is alright but not clouds like I was hoping for.

So to ask the question I'm sure someone has probably already asked what is everyone's perfered wire such as gauge, amount of wraps, and amount of cotton?

What are the best builds yall have tried for clouds, and for flavor? I want to have some mods built for major vapor production without losing all flavor, and then some mods built just for flavor but that can still blow a decent cloud when wanted.

Thanks for all the help

Depending on what I'm building, it's usually 24 to 28 gauge microcoils. I've tried all the "new" coil configurations - inception, Clapton, parallel, twisted, awesomelungsmasher (just kidding) and I always go back to microcoils.

I usually stay above 0.4 ohms on just about everything. I find that on a mech, I like the 0.4 - 0.5 range. That's just me, though. I find that range gives me what I want when it comes to clouds and flavor, with just enough warmth to keep me happy.

I've been moving away from cotton (except for a few builds) and have been using Rayon and Tencel Top. I believe they wick better, hold more liquid, and are more "flavor-neutral".

I currently only have one 26650 mech and RDA, the Hcigar "Mega" dripper. That one has a quad-coil setup. Four 2mm 10-wrap, 29 gauge coils, It's sitting around 0.46 ohms.

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.
