Nice and neat, easy to navigate and select. Looks good and has a friendly feel. Informative and the large pictures are great. I can't see how much you charge for shipping, maybe you could make this clear without having to use the shopping cart to find out.

The FAQs seem accurate at quick glance, suitably vague about cartridge capability. I don't know anything about FDA or other government approval or endorsement in the US so can't comment on accuracy there.

It's cool that you send a pen clip with the kits, I haven't seen anyone else do that.

Good luck with it.

Just had a proper read of your FAQs Phil and noticed:
"you are permitted to use it anywhere you want" - that's not the experience of a lot of people on this forum who have not been allowed to use their ecigs in public places.
"... process actually releases a harmless vapor to simulate smoke." - the evidence does not exist for 'harmless'.
"The only purchases after you have purchased a starter kit are replacement nicotine cartridges. " - your atomisers and batteries last for ever? If this was in the UK it would be misleading under the Trade Descriptions Act.
"The Food and Drug Administration deems propylene glycol safe." - to eat.
"Nicotine itself is not believed to have toxicological effects" - are you sure about this? Nicotine is certainly not harmless as you imply.
And on the Homepage - "You can also use your e-Smokey Treat almost anywhere, in bar’s, restaurant’s, store’s you can even use them on an airplane!" Not necessarily.

Sorry to be nit picking Phil but you did ask ;)
Your site is much better than a lot of retailers and your claims about ecigs not any more outlandish and misleading than most.

I just almost completely re did my site and update product pictures on my site and Im looking for a little feed back..

Anyone mind taking a look?

This is an interim site as I will be migrating to a different commerce solution that is allot more flexible within a week or two.

Thanks a ton.
Phil

As I work in design and print industry. I do have a little knowledge . The site itself and logo fonts etc.
Does not really come out and grab you other words saying look at me. Lack of colour. To whitish
Most of electronic cigarette websites never seen to be to informative about the products.
And never state the true facts regarding cartridge length etc. There's only one website
That tells you how it is and that is the Smokester excellent site videos showing off the vapour
Good guidance and advice. Good art work graphics etc

But you asked for opinions but this is just my personal opinion .
But I hope it all goes well and good luck for the future.

Hi phil

I really hope that you didn't take my comments as offensive and cheeky it was just my honest first impressions when clicking on your site.
First thing that came to me when I clicked on their was white too much white and then I thought right where do we go now.
But that was my immediate impression when just clicking on their.
What you need to look for is like a certain colour your name with that distinctive font so that it becomes your corporate ID and colour. Example when you buy anything from Apple iPod etc you only have to look at the box you don't need to read it because you know.

So when we re jigged our corporate ID and colour we try to choose something that would relate to what we actually are. Most of my employees here are female not me though.but mainly the colour in our case and this seem to work quite well for us as we have had a lot of feedback from customers a liking the colour and design.
And as we are in this trade we have to try and get this right at the beginning. Because that will reflect on us as a design company in the long run.
I hope this has helped.

Here are notes from reviewing a few pages:

On Front page

>> bar’s, restaurant’s, store’s
Remove apostrophes.

>> One the best things
"One of the best things"

>> About Us
The "About Us" heading is misplaced on this page and the "read more" link page. The "healthy alternative" text is not "About Us".

On Starter Kit detail pages

The large top photos are off center and outside your white content boundaries on the right edge. Nice shots btw. :)

>> Atomiser vs. Atomizer
Use only one spelling of the word.

>> It’s
Remove apostrophe.

>> Thats
Insert apostrophe.

>> A complete electronic cigarette comprises of
"A complete electronic cigarette is comprised of"

>> fully compatible with the njoy Electronic Cigarette
If you are going to mention Njoy you probably have to indicate that Njoy is a trademark. The J should be lower case unless the whole name is capitalized.

One of my penstyles is a DSE801. As a consumer I might wonder if yours is also compatible with the 801 (esp. since you mention one model and not the other).

As a consumer I prefer to see model and compatibility information set apart cleanly so I don't have to search for it amongst other text.

On Cartridge detail page

The large top photo is off center and outside your white content boundary on the right edge.

>> Regualr
Typo, regular.

Wow thanks jamie, that was great... I made the changes you suggested and added/rearranged some other stuff as well...

One thing I'm not seeing is the issue with the images displaying incorrectly?? I have checked the site out in firefox and ie and it all looks good to me??

Thanks again.

Hey Phil, just something else that occurred to me. The Sedansa website has links to ecig forums and I think that's a really good idea. It empowers your customers and they will appreciate your willingness to educate them. Links to important resources where people can broaden their knowledge would be a good addition to your site.

I actually just chatted about that with smokeyjoe, I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any issues with me linking back to this forum...

This place has been great and Im glad I ran across it.

Phylo, I noticed on the image of the pocket-clip the words "MADE IN USA". Is the whole device made in America or just the clip? If it's the whole device, who makes it? Just excited at the thought of maybe a quality e-cigarette for once, not made in China!

Unfortunately I don't think we will see an e-cig that is made in the US for quite some time.. The manufacturing costs would make it prohibitively expensive.. At this point its just the clip that is made in the good old US of A..

Thanks for clarifying that! Of course I'm disappointed, but if ever I need a clip I'll know where to come....... :)

Firefox and IE7 cover about 69% of viewers. I looked at your page with two browsers in the remaining 31% - IE 6 and Opera 9.26 - and both display the photo off center. That wasn't on purpose, :) I'm a version behind with both browsers. Usually it doesn't matter.

Here is what it looks like to me:

I suspect that users of Opera and out-dated versions of IE are used to not seeing sites as they are meant to be displayed. It's a choice they make.
