Hi everyone! I'm new to this so I'll give you a little background. After being a pack-a-day smoker for 11 years, I decided to try out vaping. A few weeks ago, I got a Kangertech Evod starter kit and was shocked at how much I liked it but recently have been looking to get something better. I've done a bunch of research and watched countless youtube videos and I'm still lost since there's so many different mods and tanks. One of my biggest questions is which mods and tanks go together good and which mod/tank combinations to avoid. I'm looking for something portable and not too bulky, but I seem to prefer the look and the reviews of the box type ones like the sigelei 100w plus. As for tanks, I seem to like the Aspire Nautilus. Not sure if these 2 would work together or not. Probably going to stay away from dripping and mechanical mods for now since I'm still learning. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Have you tried using lower resistance coils in your current setup? That can give a fine step up in vape quality, without getting new gear.

Outside of that, you have a world of options. The Sigelei and Nautilus would play nicely together, many folks using that combo for their vaping needs. Be aware though, Aspire is changing their coils soon, due to issues with the wicking material in the current batch.

to ecf QOE620. So glad you are here. Just a wonderful place to be as far as I am concerned. It didn't take me long either to decide I needed more and found myself loving box mods. I'm sure you will find exactly what you are looking for. Good luck to you and happy vaping.

I think that small DNA box mods are the future of vaping--at least the near future. If you don't mind a box shape, the best battery, as of today, is the new MVP 20. It's not the smallest or cutest of them, but it's the best battery for a reasonable price.

Pair it with a Kanger Emow Mega or an Aerotank and you should be a very happy vaper for a while.

Good luck and happy vaping!

Very interesting. I'm a current EVOD user. What does the lower resistance coil do? If it is better, why isn't it shipped with the lower resistance coil?

The thing I'd watch for is:
- adjustable center pin.

On most of the regulated mods, it's not there, but on the tank side, you can often get adjustable center pin, or floating center pin.

Most tanks and mods nowadays come in approx 22mm diameter

I personally vote Sigelei 100 watt and Kanger or Atlantis subohm tanks. It would work with the standard nautilus tanks. The reason I shy away from recommending the standard nautilus tanks is that if you like the vape from 3.3v to about 3.8 volts you cannot adjust the sigelei low enough. Its bottom limit is 10 watts. Any juice that needs to be in this range will scorch at the higher temp. Now if you always have your vv device at max voltage the nautilus\sigelei combo would probably work for you.

The sigelei is such a great Mod when you eventually decide to try rebuilding you will already have the power plant and just buy an RDA or RTA. For me the DNA30 is just not enough power for dripping.
