Hey all. I've been at this a month now, and have started to get quite the arsenal of juice. I currently just keep all my premade liquid sitting on the top hutch of my desk. Should I not keep them out in the open, or does it matter? Also, it does get quite hot in my apartment sometimes. Not insane hot, but noticeable now that its into the summer. Does this effect the juice?

Last question is about steeping. Ive heard a few juices that came today from ECblends, and I hear I should steep these. Whats the best way to do this?

Thanks!

I keep my juice in a box on top of my fridge. It needs a cool dark place. As long as you have AC in your house, and box type of canister will work.

I don't steep. Never worked for me but I only buy ready to vape juice.

Steeping is keeping in a dark cool place with the top or lid opened to help airate the juice. This is my taking on it.

Ymmv and good luck mate

I've never heard of leaving the lid off.

Sometimes you get one with a strong chemical or perfumey taste, steeping for a few days with the lid off in a secure place away from kids and pets can eliminate that. It doesn't always help, but it's worth a try sometimes.

Exposure to high summer temps can definitely accelerate the maturation of eliquids, see this thread for details and some gnarly photos:

For me, most ECB eliquids I've tried really do improve with a few weeks under their belt, but go ahead and try them first to see if you like them. Some will really surprise you.

I've had stuff that I actually thought the vendor forgot to flavor at all be fantastic two weeks later, and then I've gotten others that were perfect right out of the box, so give it all a taste test, and if it doesn't work for you, throw it in a safe, room temperature place and try not to think about it for a week or so.

(don't think about elephants, either.)

Thanks everyone for some great info here. One of the ECblends does have a perfume taste to it. Ill pop that cap, and let it sit out for a few days. The other 4 taste pretty good though! Dragon Blood is pretty good, but I dont understand the craze about it :). Of course taste is very subjective. I do enjoy it, but I cant say it lived up to all the hype I read. I'd consider ordering it with extra flavor next time though. Snagged it with just normal flavor. Ill let that steep for a few weeks as well to see if it brings out a stronger flavor.
