My experience with different flavors has met with a great deal of frustration. Finally found some juice I liked, multiple flavors, from one of those head shops that now carry e-juice on a small scale. However unlikely it sounds, the juice is good. However, he refuses to give me the source. The juice line is bottled with his shops name on the label. Long story short....grape. taste like the fruit with a nice overtaste you get from munching a whole grape. Anyway, I found a souce online that emulates it perfectly. VAPOR RENU! They gice you multiple choices on everything. I generally go wih Flavor West line of flavours. Thay have two or three flavor lines. So, your just not locked into one flavor, one way, take it or leave it. In my case grape, flavor west, 18mg, double flavor, no added throat hit, no health additives. I pay 8.75 for a 30 ml bottle.
If your fussy, this place is worth a try and cheap enough that you can experiment. Don't laugh, but I've been vaping grape for about 8 months.......go figure.....grape. I can hardly believe it myself but it totally satisfies my vaping requirements.

I'm going to give another vote for Ahlusion. If you send them an email before you order and explain what you are looking for, they will get back to you and make suggestions, and can fine-tune juices to your taste. If you like teas, I just got Vanilla Black tea which is, to me, super-subtle and delicious. But I don't find ALL of their flavors to be that way...others seem stronger, so definitely ask before you buy. (I'd suggest more but have only tried 5 of their flavors.) Also, check out the Ahlusion thread in the supplier forum. Lots of helpful people in there. Hope this helps:)

I am also a huge fan of Alice in Vapeland and share your feelings that many (if not most) juices being too strongly flavored. I started doing DIY recently and I am very pleased with the results. One thing to keep in mind, many of the recommended amounts of flavorings to use result in strong flavors. If you go the DIY route, start with smaller than recommended amounts of flavorings

I second the recommendation from Mt View Rick - Vapor Renu.

I got 3 juices from them to start off with as a test: Rootbeer Float, Cherry Crush and Watermelon. All three became ADV's and are my fav's. I have a new order in for 6 more flavors. Great stuff.

You can customize each of the juices any number of ways. If you want to mix your own they also sell the base (with nic already mixed) and flavors so you can DIY to your hearts content.

I'm not affiliated with them, but I've also bought a bunch of crap out there that ended up given away or trashed. It was nice to find a dependable place that I like.

I've also had some good luck with Velvet Cloud, but they're selection is small. I will stick with Vapor Renu.

Hi JavaDan,
Hmmmm, Root Beer Float, yeah, I believe that will be in my next order. I tried their Pumpkin Spice and found it tasty but just not something I want again. I try it once in awhile but think what's wrong is it just too strong. It's all soooo subjective!
Bottom line at Vapor Renu is, the price makes it possible to hit and miss a few times. As I sit here vaping Grape on my Vapor Shark DNA, I still find it a subtle and pleasing vape after all these months. I'm about to go back to IT IS VAPOR in San Jose with all the empty bottles(over 40) of grape I have and challenge them to match the flavor. As I understand it, they buy base liquids in China and flavor and mix in the states. I've yet to find a vape I like from them. It's a terrific shop with a nice buzz but their juice is just not right, if you know what I mean. They should be making juice with all USA product and it should be proudly displayed on the label, which currently is void of all information but the nicotine percentage.

its a shame Moon Mountain Vapors doesn't get more love on ECF. THey're exactly what you're looking for, smooth, subtle, clean. I've never had a nasty juice there, though some weren't for me. No steeping required. Sweet Mother of Mercury, Sweet Mother of Mars (RY4), Apple Apocalypse, Dusty Boots, to name a few....all excellent.

Darkest Days were somewhat subtle with some of their flavors - their root beer float is off the charts, while not overwhelming.

I think the "subtle" side of things in the world o' juice needs more representation, everyone is all about blowing your tastebuds out with over the top flavors. Alice's flavors are the best of the subtle ones, it seems. Makes you wonder if there's a business opportunity here...
