Hi ECF forum members! :D
I just started vaping last Monday Aug 15. In 3 days I was able to get down to 3 Analogs and Saturday was my first zero cigarette day!

I want to try dripping but I'm not sure what atty would work with my ego-t 1000mah Battery. I like the flavor with the single ego-t LR atomize I have but don't like the the extra cleaning needed from using the darker sweeter juices. Sure, I learned how to pull the needle wick out and clean it, but I've had to do this several times a day. If I'm going to stay off cigs I will need easier to clean atomizers for home, and more then one. I also tried some clearmizers. I love the extra warmth in the vapor and the taste was good for about quarter tank.

There's a brick & mortar e-cig store one town over that I plan to visit today.
With my facts, what do you all suggest?

I still like volcano lr attys but I think that's just because my first real ecig was the inferno and gotta show my appreciation but why clean attys I started to but he'll it's a pain in the ... I just keep like 15 attys and use one till it tastes like ... soak it in vodka if it still tastes like ... I save it for emergencies cause then who cares if it tastes like ... and then move on to a new one

It's important for me right now as a clean tasty hit of vape is whats going to prevent me from returning to analogs. When I was so sick from withdrawal symptoms 2 days ago and couldn't clean up a atty or get a hit that wasn't nasty tasting I went back to analogs. I only got two atomizers with my first kit, a regular ego-tank and a LR ego-tank. I understand having many atomizers is the way tho, I have no experience with drips!

I would try a lr atty from where you got your ego you'll notice a big difference from the tankomizers, better TH better flavor and easier to clean.....well maybe I don't mean easier but you'll notice a bigger difference once my tank attys started tasting nasty they never got much better with cleaning but I think you'll like any decent brand of 510 lr atty over your tank attys

Edit like I said I'm a volcano fanboy for my atomizers but you should look into a pack of clearomizers they are pretty cheap and the warm vape with .... loads of flavor is good for when you are really craving a fix

I haven't made it to dripping yet, my interest in it is mostly to sample flavors though. I'd rather not fill a tank, taste something, dislike it, and then wash out an atty. If I could drip a few drops on the atomizer to see if I liked it, that's preferable for me.

That being said, I made it through my first 2 months of no-smoking with only an eGo-T kit plus 2 LR attys. The switch to the low resistance was what helped me more than anything....and remembering why I wanted to quit. Right now I'm playing around with Cartomizers, they're pretty cool, actually, the flavors are rich and most of them give off a good bit of vapor.

It seems to me that it's not really that the atomizer is dirty after half a tank (more prominently if you're chain-vaping), but your taste buds are getting numb to the flavor. Try switching flavors around, even if it's on the same atty, they'll mingle a bit and sometimes make a strange taste for a few pulls, but it should help with that 'taste goes away' part. Unless you're literally using maple syrup or molasses in your atty, there's no way it should need cleaning every few hours. Every few days, maybe, if you're using a thicker liquid and chaining on it.

I'd suggest that you keep in mind that your body is going to be going through some changes, physically and mentally, as you make the shift from smoking to vaping. No amount of throat hit or cloud of vapor will make that go away. From what I understand though, once you're past the first 2-4 weeks, you're pretty well in the clear.

Vaping is more powerful after you're past the quitting part, though. It helps keep you off the analogs, by giving you something that's a sort-of substitute to handle the stressful times in your life.

Best of luck!

P.S. Drink lots and lots of water. If you have to run to the bathroom every hour, you're drinking about enough. Your taste buds need water to function properly. Also, the nicotine can cling to them. Drinking plenty of water will help rinse them off and keep them hydrated to continue their job of providing you with your favorite flavor. :)

    in a cave, eh?
You need a drip tip with a 306. And not just because the 306 LR gets really hot. The 306 is awesome on a 3.7 volt or, in your case, a 3.4 volt PV.

In Canada, HappyVaper, which is close to you, carries them. NicFitNation carries them as well.

You might also consider trying cartomizers. Such as the Boge LR or SmokTech dual coil cartomizers. You might consider an eGo cone to slide over them (optional).

Wow, awesome info. I'll pick up some 510 LR's today at the brick & mortar shop and mail order some 306's. The 306's are the ones this shop doesn't carry. I'd pickup from HappyVape, but they don't have the 1000mah Ego USB pass-through Battery in stock. My Ego battery died after only 4 days and I've been on the a 501 usb pass-through. I'm glad I followed a tip and got a second powering device with my battery device. Saved me from going back to cigs.

I'm now on day 2 of zero cigs and the only major side effects of quitting are brain fog and flue like stiffness in my neck and upper back. The minor side effects are incredible smells. The roads stink like sickening rubber, the supermarkets floors reek of floor wax solvents.. these smells are so strong they are making me Nauseous.

i Think the LR ego-tank atty I got was defective. It has always gurgled bad from day one. When I first took it apart there was only a thin fraid wick in the squib/pin part in comparison the the wick that was found in the regular Atty. I took the nice wick from the regular addy and swapped it into the LR. Was a lot better in flavor and vapor production with less dry hits after the swap. When I took the LR atty apart last night, there was no longer any wick in the LR's coil. The coil was just a coil in free air. :(
