Hey guys,

I want to get another mechanical mod, and I am not sure what I want to buy yet.

I only want to spend about $60 or so maybe a bit more if it is worth it.

Been looking at the smok magneto as it is not a clone and gets good reviews. I am also considering maybe like a hcigar clone of a stingray or possibly a carvela.

Just looking to hear peoples experiences with mods in the price range, so I can make a good addition to the collection!

I agree. There's tons of quality clones and affordable authentics out there, it just depends on what you're looking for.

Myself - I've kind of gotten away from mechanicals. I own several but at the moment I'm in love with my Cloupor DNA 30. It's a clone of the Hana DNA 30. And a very good one too!!

You can also get a mech that is not a clone and it's called the Sage from Beyond vape. Mark Todd did a review on it. It's only $89.00 also. Look up Todds review on Youtube and look for the review. Then choose. Just don't jump into anything only advice I can give

Why are you against clones?? I assume you're relatively new to vaping, so don't believe the misconception that clones aren't as good as authentics. It's your money, but unless you have a lot of it, you're gonna be spending a lot of it on metal tubes.

The right mod depends on what your main goal is. If it's to cloud chase, you'll want something with the least voltage drop. In that case, you should check out the Stingray, or perhaps a copper mod of some sort. If you want to be able to place the mod on a table without needing to lock it, then you'll want to look at mods with recessed switches like the 4 Nine. Do you want something with a minimalistic look, or do you want something that looks more like a work of art?

I have nothing against clones at all I'm very interested in clones as well as authentic...

I'm definitely looking for a mod that has a small voltage drop. I want my mod to hit hard. I have been using a crappy nemesis clone. The reason I know it is crappy is because when I put my rebuildables on other peoples mods it is night and day performance difference...

I don't really care about a recessed switch just something that works, and works well.

I've definitely been interested in trying a dna 30 clone. What do you like about it over mechanical?

For me, it's more consistent, I guess you could say. The last vape on the battery is a good as the first. I can vape all day on one 18650 and the performance never changes. I can sub-ohm all the way down to .4 if I want to or I can stay in the 1.5 ohm range where my kayfuns like it and I can crank up the wattage to suit my vape style.
