Hi there.
I am new to both vaping and this forum.
My name is Jen and I am trying hard to switch from analog to PV.

I have read the section for trying to pick the right PV for you and think either the KR8 or a 510 would do well for me.

Could someone please recommend a site that has one of these reasonably prices as well as having a decent selection of cartridges?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to getting to you know.

Jen

you need to give more info on what your looking for. Do you want it to resemble a real cig?

Also give how much you smoke, how many cigs a day, etc.

I recommend going with a bigger battery PV if you dont absolutely want it to look like a cig. They give alot better battery life and will give you alot more options on what you can use on it.
Also I would use cartomizers instead of an atomizer and cartridges. Cartos are alot more consistant and hold more juice so you can refill less.

SWEET HOME ALABAMA
ecigexpress has a lot of different things...
Flavors, cartomizers, eliquids, Kits.....
You name it, they probably have it.
Also Madvapes has alot of different brands,
and all the supplies for them.

You should tell us more on what you are looking for as mynameisrob mentioned.
Do you need it to look like a cig? Do you have one yet? If not you might want to start with a
EGO KIT. It is one of the most popular and IMHO the best starter for a noob.
I have 5 EGO's but I have been vaping for 8-9 months now.
I can use my 510 ego battery with alot of different cartomizers.
You might want to get the 1000mah or 1100mah if you can afford it.
The smaller batteries (650-900mah) just don't hold up. The avarage
time I can get on the smaller ones is 4-5hours. So get a good one to start,
so you don't have to upgrade anytime soon. You can use just that for 6 months
or more. Good Luck!!

Hi Jen and welcome! I started with a slim cigarette style and have been very happy with it. I did, however, quickly move on to something just a tad bigger. The Elite 808 is a little bigger than an analog, but not so huge that it draws a lot of attention. The price for the kit can't be beat.. $50 for two batteries, charger, some cartos and a bottle of liquid. I'm getting 7-8 hours on a charge and the cartos are bigger so they last longer too. Overall, I'm very, very happy with my Elite. Check out CigEasy and watch the videos there.. convinced me! Good luck on your search, and hope you find what you want!

Welcome to the Forum!

My advice first would be relax, browse, soak up the information before you commit to a kit.

Like LadyVaper said some factors are important for people to help you figure out whats best, such as how much did you smoke? Where you a harsh smoker/light smoker? How long did you smoke for? Here is a helpful link I also just shared with someone else Best E-Cigarette for a New User

I personally agree an eGo, Riva, Kgo, ect are great places to start. Rock bottom Riva & eGo prices are at Liberty-Flights.com Look under the "discount" codes for 20% off your purchase and you'll be getting a hell of a deal. Riva/eGo is also a 510 threading which is one of the most popular making it one of the most easy to use.

Instead of cartridges I would personally recommend being open to cartomizers and direct dripping.

Cartomizer-- Cartridge and the atomizer combined

Direct Dripping-- Putting 2-3 drops at a time of your liquid directly onto your atomizer and attaching/or though a drip tip.

Drip tips make vaping so much more pleasurable and easier. They simply just snap on to your set-up. Very easy to use. Many people even attach them to their cartomizers for a comfortable mouth piece.

Hope I helped!

Hi again.

I do not need it to look like a cigarette, but the size of it I would prefer to be about the same.
I have been a pack a day smoker for 20 years and the past few days, I have been using a disposable E-Cig that I bought at the gas station. I like it, but am sure that if I purchase a rechargable with options that I like, the experience will be even more enjoyable. Plus the fact, I smoked menthol lights and this thing is just straight menthol and is harsh when I inhale.

Perhaps the eGo is the place to start for me.

So Frosting, Liberty-Flights is reputable? Is the discount code on their site?

And really, I guess that is one of the other things I am kind of nervous about. I do not make alot of online purchases, but finding this site and seeing actual recommendations helps me a bit.

I would get a kGo, E-Power, or Riva. They are all 3.7V PVs and give a great vape plus great battery life. The eGos are nice too but they are only 3.3-3.4V. The 3.7V PVs give a better vape and handle the low resistance attys and cartos alot better.
Check out Hoosier Ecig Supply or Dark City Vapor for the kGo and E-Power or Crystal Clear Vaping for the E-Power. CCV has a great package and you get about $25 in free stuff. Free 5-pack of Ressurector cartos, free 30ml juice of your choice, and free shipping, plus put in ecf5off and get 5% off the order. For Hoosier 5off gets you 5% off the order too.

No offense, but the elite is still a slim ecig and $50 really isnt a great price for a slim ecig. The kGo, E-Power, and Riva are all under $50 and are alot better. The elite will limit you to only using standard resistance atts/cartos as low resistance attys/cartos are only for bigger battery PVs. The elite battery is alittle better than normal slim ecigs, but its still under 400mah. The only way your going to get 7-8hrs from an elite battery is if your a VERY light vaper. 100mah= about an hr of moderate vaping. A bigger battery PV would be the same price or cheaper and will give you alot better battery life, and alot more options of what you could use. Plus it gives a better vape

Well after reading around and then searching even more for a good deal, I went with The Vapor Room and bought the EGO Mega Cartomizer Kit. I loved that they had a good price on the kit, plus all the different liquids.
I found their website very easy to get around on as well......which helped.

In addition to the kit, I bought a 5 pack of liquid as well....Mashmallow, Toasted Tabbaco(mainly for my hubby to try), caramel, Very Cherry and Peanut Butter Cookie. I also got 6ml that was coming with the order so I got smooth Menthol and then it was my first time ordering so I got 15ML free and asked for cheesecake.

Thank you everybody that added to this thread to help in my decision on what type of PV to get, as well as recommendations for stores.
