Looking for the flavor

I've been experimenting with different coil builds on the Subtank Mini RBA section. I'm fairly new to wrapping coils and I'm primarily concerned with the best flavor I can get. I'm not at all interested in chucking big clouds. I also prefer a warmer vape over cool but flavor is my main concern.
I've played around with steam engine and built quite a few different variations but I still haven't found quite what I'm looking for.
Can anyone share their best flavor build that would be suitable for the STM? I'm only looking for single coil, kanthal, either micro or spaced, not ready for twisted or parallel coils yet. I vape mostly 50/50 juice and wick with KGD cotton sheets. My mod is an Istick 30, for now, so I only have 30 watts to work with and can build as low as 0.4 ohm. Also, please try to keep the wire gauge at 26,28,and 30 since that's what I have on hand right now.
I appreciate all the input, thanks.

I think you may want to experiment more with wicking materials rather than coil builds.

I get the best wicking and flavor results with either cotton bacon or ko gen do cotton (Japanese cotton). Then cellucotton (rayon). Less so with plain organic cotton. Silica last.

Plain organic cotton almost always has the "new cotton" taste initially. Silica has always been a lesser flavor carrier. Rayon will not burn at the coil site like cotton will because it is synthetic, so that's a small plus.

I used to work in a vape shop. All the employees made their own coils and wicks. IMO, all the exotic builds tasted the same and no better than a simple coil. They were mostly hobbyists and enthusiasts who just enjoyed making different kinds of coils. Just about all liked either ko gen do or cellucotton wick.

Personally I just make simple microcoils with 28 gauge, wrapped around a 3.0 fulcrum for easier wicking. K.I.S.S. - keep it simple, stupid.

Well my stm rba is at 26g 2.5mm 7w 0.9Ω
use kgd with the two outer layers peeled off. Thread it through the coil I like it snug, put chamber on threading wick through.
Cut the wick about half an inch above the chamber then one at a time fold and tuck the wick on so the bottom of the wick is touching the deck.
Then add some juice and get the wicks away from the sides of the chamber so the juice holes are clear.

I've been good with this way. Is it the best flavour way ,, well maybe yes maybe no. Though for me its been the way that has been most successful wicking wise. Also done different amount of wraps and 3mm diameter.

Parallel coils aren't as hard as they look . (If I can do it) Just take it nice and slow. Built my first one not too long ago. 28g , 4 wraps on a 2 mm came to .3ohms. I find it's better for custard/cream flavors
What is the reasoning behind this build being better suited for custard or cream juice?
