I have a Splitfire, and the flavor comes through very well. It is a bit more fussy to change heads however. I still like it, and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. You could also follow Zapped's suggestion.

Well been vaping for 2 months now and loving it! Looking into trying some new tanks right now I'm using a vivi nova tank which I love but wanna try some new one any suggestions?

I might give the Splitfire a go after the holidays and see how it vapes myself.Wasnt trying to imply that any of the 'tanks" mentioned in this thread were lesser except maybe in terms of flavor, just wanted to point out that the ones mentioned were actually hybrids and not 'true" carto/tanks.

Although I know that the word "tank" is in the description of a Vivi Nova I personally would describe it more as a clearomizer (yet I am not exactly sure I could define what a clearomizer is) and to my mind one thing is that clearomizers don't use cartomizers.

Tanks however to me mean a device that uses cartomizers. So I guess I would want to know if you want a device that uses wicks and is basically a unit in and of itself or do you want a device that requires cartomizers?

If the former then like 45root I endorse the Kanger T3 and since using them I also have not touched my old Vivis. Well I have touched them (not in a bad way) when I pick them up and hold them next to my T3s and say things like "Why can't you be more like him?". My Vivis are currently suffering from low self esteem.

The world of tanks...is just that a world and it is a big one. Tanks can run from 10 bucks to 100 bucks. I think a great introductory tank is The Cartomator from Vaperfexion it is mere 20 bucks. You can always upgrade to their stainless steel model for $40.

Phiniac tanks are also nice I would put their least expensive at around $40 and you can get a super simple glass tank from IBTanked for $10. I would say that most places that sell tanks also sell pre-punched cartos for the tanks.

not really even a hybrid. they're clearos....really big clearos.

to the OP: depends what you like, personally i've been getting more into my RBAs lately, and you can get a cheapo genesis style atty if you've had a few go-arounds with rebuilding your nova and have a superior vape overall, the one i've been using in particular lately is the AGA-T from clouds of vapor.

other than that, i've never been a fan of the vivi nova...i've always found it to be inferior in so many ways that i couldn't look past that i just never cared much for it...the kangers are much of the same story, although i do prefer the kangers if i had a choice since they are bottom fed and don't have issues with dry hits.

as far as cartotanks, i like them much more than the larger clearos....i have a couple of glass tanks from IBTanked as well as a phiniac and enjoy them all equally...

i tend to find that people who don't like cartomizer tanks generally use cartos i've always seemed to find less-than-stellar performance wise, if you decide to get a cartotank, be sure to run over to ikenvape and grab yourself a few 510 platinum series cartos (they also come pre-punched for tanks) as issac simply stocks the best cartomizers around.
