Im fairly new to vaping, bug am looking to branch out from my current setup, which is a Vision Spinner with EVOD tanks. I also have a mni protank coming in soon. Ive heard a lot about the joys of dripping, but dont even know where to start with that. My primary setup will continue to be the Spinner with a tank as Im a truck driver and that is when I do most of my vaping. I will be acquiring a Vamo V3 in the near future. But I am interested in dripping. I just dont know where to start. Cheap is good and Im not opposed to ordering from FT or clones, as long as they perform. Im not necessarily interested in rebuilding, as that my flat workspace is pretty much zero in the truck and lighting is limited in the evening. So Im seeking advice on my options. What would work with my current setup and still be relatively inexpensive? Seems like it would be nice to kick back in the evening and drip while watching a movie. Thanks in advance!

Should you find that you really like dripping on an atomizer, because you are a truck driver that becomes a rather impossible task to drip and drive. (It takes two hands to drip)

My point is, there's a way to enjoy dripping but have the convenience of a tank. A bottom feeder box mod.

These are most commonly a mechanical mod (single voltage, but a couple do have variable voltage capability) consisting of a box form factor which contains the battery and a soft plastic juice container. You are able to squeeze the bottle through a window which feeds juice up to either an atomizer or a cartomizer thru their bottom connector. You are able to vape several puffs after each "squonk" or squeeze. These juice bottles can be removed by removing an earth magnet door in the mod to change flavors or do refills. Actually a very simple way to vape. Gives you the full flavor of dripping with the convenience of a tank.

Something you'd be interested in? The two most popular bottom feeders are the Reo from Reomods and the VMod from Vapage.

If you are driving a truck, why use a rig that even has a battery

Get a cheap cigarette lighter USB power adapter

And a USB bypass with a tank on it...
$5.50 Variable Voltage USB Passthrough Battery for E-Cigarette at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Save your eGo Spinner as your "mobile" vaping rig!

Dripping takes 2 hands, or something to sit your rig on, then drip a few drops into the atomizer, then vape

Yes...Friends don't let friends drip and drive ;)

Totally epic for a truck driver right there! No need to worry about a battery at all. This would be good for anyone that travels a good deal. Good price too, but how reliable?

I will say this...I have a "different" one from another manufacturer..5vdc straight thru came with a 2.2Ω CE4 in the kit (ran really hot!!!)

I use it MORE than any of my other rigs, in my pickup commuting to work, at my desk at home and in my cubicle at work..hasn't failed...other than the cord being held in the "tube" by a small glob of glue...and a good tug pulled the little wires loose...had to re solder and put some liquid electrical tape, and tie a stress relief knot in the cord and hasn't stopped hitting! (I now run a 2.8Ω vivi nova mini head and it vapes warm and thick clouds)

Reviews of the one above mention the "weak" point on the cable

Thank you everyone for all the input! As far as the USB passthru idea, it is a good one, but Im somewhat neurotic about extra cords hanging. My console is limited. I have one 12v plug up front, the rest are in the sleeper. The usb slot by the radio is hit or miss. I could never get it to charg my Blu. My other usb ports are in the sleeper and on my inverter behind the driver's seat. I like the disposable 510 attys. I dont mind stocking up on them for the convenience. My buddy and I are gonna bobtail up to a B&M tomorrow. Hes having problems with his T3S's cracking and leaking and might try topick up an evod.

You can get a 510-T atty, little tank that plugs into the atomizer

$1.71 EGO 510-T Electronic Cigarettes Flat Mouth Atomizer with Refill - black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Like dripping but with a refillable tank, it's 510 threads so it will fit on any 510 battery device

P.S. They have GOBS of those e-cig stick batteries on fasttech too!

Once you are done emptying the little plastic tank you can refill them (with a syringe or syringe tipped cap)..and you can clean out the atomizer, and you can get TONS of little plastic tanks, this way you don't waste juice if you want to "try out" a new flavor too! Plus the atomizer lasts alot longer than a few times before you chuck em.

Manual dripping and driving are not compatible so you will need to use something to feed the atomizer. The cheapest option is the newly released Vision Aurora BFT. It is basically an attachment that will turn a tube mod into a bottom feeder. The Aurora will work fine with your Spinner and the VAMO you are purchasing.

I've had my Aurora a little over a week and have been pleasantly surprised at how much I like it. I've found that it does a better job of keeping the atty fully saturated than my VMOD-XL. The Aurora couldn't be easier to use. Just tilt it downwards, squeeze the bottle, turn it back upright and let go of the bottle. It gives a perfect feed every time with no flooding. You don't need to look at it at all.

The included atty is producing results comparable to my Cisco spec attys. However, I found the enclosed heads one uses with the enclosed tube performed poorly. Happily, you don't need to use them. You can stick with the included atty or buy another 510 manufactured atty like the Ciscos.

Got Vapes just got some Auroras up on their website last night for $27.50. That is much more budget-friendly that purchasing a separate bottom feeder like the XMOD-XL, Reo or Bogger Box.

Even though Todd normally reviews rebuildables he gave the Aurora a favorable review.

If you are interested I posted some first impressions of my Aurora with some pictures.

Definitely not planning to drip and drive. It's hard enough to barrel down the interstate riding 80,000 of chrome, steel, and freight at 65mph and trying not to kill the texting four-wheelers or the ones who dont seem to understand that I can stop on a dime like they can. Dripping is just for my downtime relaxation. Im pretty dedicated to my Spinner as an ideal driving device.

Warhawk, would a Blu battery work with what youre talking about? Ive still got my two Blu batteries rolling around and the charge pack too.

I did hit the B&M today and snatched up a Kanger Evod and two extra heads, a Vivi Nova, an awesome purple drip tip, and two bottles of juice to tide me over til I get home in two weeks. Im dying to get home. My youngest is turning one and I havent seen hubby and the boys since the 12th of August. Plus I will have 3 20ml bottles of juice, an AiV sampler, and my FT order of more evods and a protank waiting on me. Im absolutely loving the Vivi though. I will definitely have to get more. I love the warmmoist vape you get off a top coil setup.
