Hello ECF About to pick up a PV, most likely volt x2 with a clearo and some juice from mt baker. But i still have two questions, First off the Vaper is mostly water correct? I imagine a small amount of nicotine is still in exhaled vapor so could it be dangerous for non smokers or children to be handling say something that was in close proximity to you while vapeing? Not vapeing around kids, I have no plans for that. But if i am using my pv at a computer and a child were to sit at the computer afterwords could the settled material be harmful? Also if i am sitting using a pass though at the computer over a long period of time, could the settled material be harmful to my electronics? My main computer tips the Kill-A-Watt scale at over 1200w drawn so the idea of vaper around that naturally is vary scary. And finally, I love to ride motorcycles. Just about year round, how should i protect a pv on two wheels? here in the winter months i use my panniers (saddle bags) but its still 25 degrees would this kind of could be harmful? I know the batter will love it but what is the freezing point of the liquid? And in the summer how should i keep a PV safe, without the bags where should it be stored? most cases i have seen are either flimsy plastic pcc or soft cloth. So either way if the worst should happen i'd be out a pv (i know it seems silly to worry about loosing a pv in a motorcycle accident, but it happens wouldn't be the first and will not be the last. So i'd like to know) I kinda had an idea of sticking it in a M&M container. The plastic tubes for the minis. Good idea or not? Wow that is quite a block of text. Any input would be greatly helpful and hopefully with a bit of peace of mind i shall be enjoying some vapor with you all soon.

There have been very few studies on second hand vapor but the results, so far, have been very good. Check out the health and wellness forum for threads with links to these studies. I wont quote any but from my own interpretation of the study results, I dont hesitate to vape around others. Even children. But no study is ever going to make sweeping conclusions such as "safe to use around kids and pets" . Rather study conclusions focus on dry facts so its up to you to determine how the results should be interpreted for your lifestyle.

As far as keeping your PV safe - dont over think it. A simple case in your saddle bags is fine. If you are concerned about your juice getting cold - wear your pv on a lanyard under your coat.

Hi Toothless Welcome to the site. First off nicotine has one known harmful affect, it hardeneds your arteries. What that can cause I dont know. So refering to the kids on this one, I dont know, Id do more research. For you its alot safer then stix.

As far as your PV goes, instead of being overly protected with just get yourself a few eGo batts. This way if something does happen like cold weather causing them to short out (while firing them when there froze) or you loss them, they are cheap to replace

You would'nt think that it would be a problem while vaping by your computer. If your that concered about it maybe look into getting a de-humidifier I dont if this would work or not
Hope this helps T41CK
