I really enjoy producing large, thick, tasty clouds of smoke. I smoke hookah a few times a week, it is incredibly relaxing. I would like to be able to relax like this on breaks at work, or without setting up the whole Hookah, and no nicotine or tabacco (work in a nicotine/tobacco free workplace). I am willing to jump right into vaping with the right setup from the get-go. Ive gotten a throwaway ehookah to try, I liked it, then I got a small pen refillable e-hookah, liked it too, but it died shortly thereafter, and the vapor clouds were meh overall. I am willing to spend upwards of 250$ including everything, and would like a somewhat easy to take care of system, but I am ok with some amount of cheap, easy, and accessible (do not want to hunt hard for parts or components, should be able to find them relatively anywhere) DIY.

Anyone got suggestions? Right now I am looking at the VOXII kit as it looks complete, but I am not sure how newbie friendly the sub-ohm thing is, but I am willing to do things right and follow instructions.

Let me know any additional info you need to get from me to help answer the question. And yes, I am aware there is no 'right' answer. I am looking for guidance and confirmation.

I know I should start with a mod otherwise I will want to upgrade, and I know sub-ohm with rda gets the best clouds and flavor, however I also know rda can can be complex for beginners and sub-ohm can be dangerous to new users if not used right.

Many of your more popular subohm tanks today (Atlantis, Subtank, Arctic, etc.) can chuck some serious clouds without even venturing into coil building. You would also want to use a heavy VG juice as well. Any VV/VW regulated mod will be a safe and easy place to start. You would want the mod to be upwards of 50 watts if you are ok with keeping yourself to no lower than 0.5 ohm. If you want to go lower (such as the 0.3 ohm coil for the Atlantis 2, or 0.2 ohm coil for the Artic) then you will want to go upwards towards 100 watts.

In my experience (with the Subtank and the Atlantis 1 and 2), if flavor is more important to you, then go with the Subtank. If clouds are more important, then go with the Atlantis 2. If you want a good combination of both, then go with the Atlantis 1.

So if I got this:

Black iPV4 100W Box MOD by Pioneer4you Greenleaf

I should be good for a good long while?

(with the atlantis 1 tank)?

I can't vouch for that device since its so new. It has temp control and 100 watts but its cheap. Sigelei has a 75 watt box mod with temperature control available for preorder so if you can be patient it may pay off to wait a while longer.

that's a brand new mod that hasn't really had much time to be reviewed (still waiting on mine to ship and I pre-ordered it ages ago...)
But it does have Temp Control and it does appear to be working so far -- but buying an unproved mod is a bit risky.
also 100 Watts is over kill unless you are looking to get in to the rebuildable dripping attys.
You really think your work is going to be okay with you blowing clouds? I worked at a tobacco and nic free workplace back when I smoked and they also wanted to tell me what drinks and vitamin supplements i could and could not take... :/ I got yelled at for drinking a 4 hour energy drink by upper management... lol soon after that I left for a better job :)

That will work fine. If you plan on using the Atlantis 1 with it, the extra wattage will be overkill. From my experience, I have found that the sweet spot for the Atlantis 1 with the 0.5 ohm coil is around 30-35 watts. Any higher and I start getting a burnt taste. The 0.3 ohm coil for the Atlantis 2 is rated at 70-80 watts, although based on Ohm's Law if you're running 4.2 volts with a 0.3 ohm coil you will be pulling just under 59 watts. The 0.3 ohm Atlantis 2 coil will fit into the Atlantis 1, but I understand that the Atlantis 1 air control base does not provide enough air to run the 0.3 ohm coil high enough.

The mod will definitely have extra room for you to grow into if you end up getting into dripping using 0.2 ohm coils.

I have the same mod that I had pre-ordered and I'm currently waiting for the package to arrive from the USPS (hopefully will get it tomorrow).

They will not care about vapor as long as it is not within the building, and no tabaco/nicotine on campus (plus I am not a fan of tabacoo/nicotine for myself, most hookah I ever smoke is tabaco/nicotine free)

I was looking at the 100 Watt for future expansion room if i decide to do fancy dripping (right now leaning away from it). Good to know that that is a new/untested mod, I will try and find a more tried and proved one between 75 and 100 watts.

I think Starbuzz ehose should be satisfying for you. Actually my son is a hookkah person. He bought e-hose from a chinese company . He even bought one hookah type atomiser too. Now he enjoys ehose in his car, Atomiser in Office (sisha type you know) and he enjoys immensly. I also suggest starbuzz liquids 0 nic and very good taste says my son.
