looking to try a good carto

i have an iclear 30, 2 mini pt2's and one pt2.

im kinda interested in trying some cartos. i generally run 100% vg fluid...so i run through a lot of coils and have to tinker so it doesnt clog. or leak. and all that good stuff.

ive read that some cartos handle the thicker fluids better than clearos. can i get some ideas :3

Is your VG thick? Stuff like boba's bounty work fine in my smoktech cartos, but not many others do. Flavor plays a huge role in thickness, if not greater than the actual ratio.

the 100% vg from virgin vapor. i was wondering does this IKV 510 MEGA Platinum STD need a tank or do you fill it itself with the fluid. and can you refill it? im getting a large sampler...and dont wanna clean each of my tanks like 6 times

Sorry, I haven't looked here in a while. Those are non-punched cartos. You'd have to punch it yourself for tank use, and they are +~45mm long. Perfect for what you'll use them for, but since you're not using a tank, I'd try different sizes.

Try some unpunched cartos like the SMOK 1.7ohm single coil. Ive also heard the metal (not plastic) SMOK MEGA 4XLs are good as a stand alone and they hold A LOT of juice. You can get them in 510 or eGo threading. They have a kinda funky rubber drip tip that is not standard though. It requires an adapter to take regular drip tips or you can buy ones made for them.

IMO it a great way to try a carto without all of the expense or learning curve of a tanked carto. Prime them well and blow out the excess. Top off occasionally as needed. Straight VG might take longer to fully saturate the pollyfill so take your time priming.

The best hitting carto I've tried, and still use, is the Smok EMSCC. That stands for eGo Mega Single Coil Carto. I usually fill a new one with 90 to 100 drops of liquid. I use the 1.7 ohm. Smok also make an EMDCC which is good, but I like the EMSCC better. Hoosier E-cig Supply has the best price that I've found.

I had to fill one of my SMOK 1.7s today or risk killing one of my IKVs with a thicker sweet juice. I dont mind if it kills a $1.39 carto in a few days. I can buy them locally.
