I love doing things myself, and the idea of mixing and matching some of my own e juice is really appealing. Can any of you experienced mixers suggest some initial flavorings to start with? There are so many different flavorings/concentrates out there that its hard to know which ones to buy to start experimenting.

Start there. Grab 3 different fruit flavors: a berry, a citrus and maybe a tree/vine fruit (grape, apple, pear, watermelon etc)
Blend them straight up. Them mix 2. Then add a new flavor like graham crust or cheesecake.
As you can see, the tree really starts to branch out from there.

Start with the above suggestion. Mix at 10% flavor to base at first, then increase flavor level to reach your happy place.
Does the same experimentation hold for the base? 50/50 PG/VG? I'm not working up any mixes with nicotine?
Might want some form of vanilla...like vanilla swirl, or vanilla custard, or vanilla bean ice cream, etc. Banana cream is good, too, which is already a sort of blend, and it goes wonderful with strawberry. Sweet cream is also good to have with fruit flavors.
