Well at my b&m today she showed me the z max thought thats what i want then went to youtube and wow thats too much for me im still learning. I would like a simple but nice setup. I want the same vape from start to finish. the one i have now is ok but the vape is never the same. I like that the z max has a battery that u can replace mine u just use for months then get a new unit. so i dont know if i just need to bight the bullet and get the z max and lots of clearo to learn on or stick to something simple.. whats ur thoughts i know u all can help me out.

i was in the same boat as you about a month ago. went from a gas station e-cig, to an ego-s, then i went to a mech, instead of a variable voltage PV. i have a kamry k100, with an IGO-L rba. i'm still a n00b, but building the wick and coil was fairly easy, with the help of this forum and youtube.
in the end, i wanted the same as you, a nice clean vape routinely. so far so good. i just didn't want to deal with anything too fancy in terms of features. but to each their own. when i first bought this, the z-max and evic were on my list as well. good luck to you mommafish!

The K100 is a mechanical mod...no variable voltage like the eVic or ZMax. You would still have to purchase your atomizers or cartomizers separately. Yes, most tanks and clearos work, but you might run across a few that need an adapter to work. It also has a bottom button to fire it and you might have to lock the button to place it down then unlock it to take a vape. It can get to be tiresome.

You need to decide if you want an unregulated or regulated battery device. You said you want the same vape from start to finish. An unregulated PV will not give you that - the vape will taper off as the battery's voltage declines.

A regulated PV will have a micro-processor to keep the voltage output the same from start to finish. The absolute best PV to do this is a Provari, with it's Accuset processor chip. Most likely is out of your price range though. If you don't mind purchasing a slightly blemished (with full 1 year warranty) Provari, Provape often has them in their clearance section for $140. Clearance

A Vamo is an inexpensive PV with many features. It uses replaceable batteries like the Provari, but is quite long in length comparatively. It also will not have the quality build and durability of the Provari. Provape will continue to service a Provari after the warranty for as long as you own it, the other Chinese mods do not offer that service -- once those fail there is no repairing them.

Probably the least expensive option for your expectation would be either a Vision Spinner or Joytech Twist, both variable voltage eGo's. A good setup would look like this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...06-4-good-starters-setup-beginning-vapor.html

There are a number of options to put on top of the battery. I made a picture dictionary of the more common juice delivery devices here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...k-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html
