Hey guys, I posted another thread on this but it isn't getting much attention.. I bought my first rebuildable a few days ago, a Nimbus clone for $25. I've been re-building coils for my Protanks for months now, standard and microcoils, so I have a good feel for rebuilding.

I've only tried the stock coil that came with my Nimbus so far though.. The problem is, the top cap is wayy too loose and just falls right off too easily. If I even tilt my eVic to the side slightly (which I do everytime I vape), the cap falls away from the o-ring seal on one side. If I hold the Nimbus from the bottom 510-connection, and turn it upside down, the cap falls right off.

This also makes the vape incredibly airy, I have to hold the cap down while I vape, and usually also plug 1 of the airholes.
...... I was told that this dripper should not be airy at all, and that if anything, I'd want to drill out the air holes

So I took it back into the vape shop I got it from the day after (40minute drive from me), and they said if they couldn't find o-rings that would seal the cap/tank correctly, that they would just replace it for me. So he switched out the o-rings, and that helped a little bit. I thought it was good, so I went home without trying to vape it.

After the employee switched the o-rings - it is a tighter seal, cap doesn't just fall off if I turn it upside down, but it's still a little loose. I still have to push down on the cap while vaping to keep it sealed, and plug an airhole.

So it shouldn't be like this, right?? The employee said it should be kind of loose, but I don't think it should be this loose.. I just want to rebuild it and vape on my 1st dripper! I'll probably drive back tomorrow (another 40minutes) and try to exchange it. The employees were very nice & helpful and told me to let them know if I have any more issues, I feel bad because I bought it with a gift card lol.

What do you guys think? Thanks!! :p

Thanks for the input, that's what I thought. I know it's a clone but it should still work right lol. The crappiest part is, the vape store where I got it from is 40minutes away, and I already drove there twice. The first time, I was in the area and had a gift card, so I stopped in hoping to buy the IGO-L or W as my 1st dripper, but they were out. Than had to drive back a few days later to have them try to fix it, I was hoping they'd just exchange it

So I'll drive back again tomorrow, for this $20 dripper. Might is well buy the Kanger Aerotank while I'm there to make it worth it, or the Nautalis if they have it back in stock. The good thing is I'm sure they'll happily exchange it next time I go in, they said last time that they would if they couldn't find o-rings that would fit.

They were happy to help me out and very informative, more than I can say for most vape shops around here. I'm sick of rebuilding my Protank... Man I can't wait to rebuild and get my drip on!!
:D
