Nimbus replacement screws ??

So I was rebuilding my nimbus at a Starbucks at around 4am screw fell off while putting the wire through.

I tried using an igo-l screw but it won't screw down.

Does anyone know where I can buy some replacement screws for my nimbus.

Hi peru, I've been looking for some Nimbus parts too... in my case, the Orings dilated to a point where I had to remove them both. There are just no parts out there for it and from what I remember there were no replacement parts in the original order...

For the screws, you might try one out of an electrical chocolate block and see if it fits, I have the feeling that might do the trick...

I tried a few hobby stores and nothing. I also tried an igo-l screw but it didn't work. They should offer replacement parts for the nimbus

When you say won't screw down, do you mean the thread is not the same or they are too short/long? FYI IGO-L screws are the same thread size & pitch as the M2 x .4 screws posted above. M2 X .4 is the thread size most RDAs use with different lengths.

Too bad you aren't close to me, I could measure it for you.

The M2 x .4 are definitely the ones in a Chimbus (not sure about the genuine Nimbus). They are commonly used in consumer electronics. I managed to salvage quite a few crosshead ones from an old laptop. They work perfectly in mine.

I'm in the SF Valley. If you mail me the screw you have I can tell you exactly the thread size you need & where to get it if it's not proprietary (which I doubt it is).

Try going to a hobby shop or a fastenal.

can someone let me know if the chimbus ones work for the nimbus from kidney puncher? Stripped one of the screws when I took it to get my air holes drilled bigger and made the mistake of letting someone else build it for me

Bump... I'm curious if the Kidney Puncher screws worked before I order them... I see nobody has come back with the verdict and I'm in the same position. Also, has anybody found the o-rings?

I bought tne M2 x 4mm philips head screws from ebay and they work on my Nimbus clone, Helios clone, Forge clone and Pride clone RDAs
