Heyo ECF!

Just in case anyone read a post a did a couple of weeks ago about being ready to quit vaping: I've since fixed everything and Thanx for the advice. Decided to go back to a basic e-cig type pv with slim batts and cartomizers. Except this time instead of getting the spotty performance of a V4L kit, I went to Smokeless Image. Special thanx to MrOutlaw for his super amazing videos.

But to the post!

So as mentioned above I'm usin a simple SI Volt battery and cartos. Its been working wonderfully and ive had the most stress free vape ever. But now im experiencing something that I've not had happen before, a complete loss of throat hit. When I get my 1st vape of the day its there but it gradually goes away as I vape. If I go away for a bit and eat or something and then come back to it about 20 mins later its there again but then starts to go away. I'm vaping 4 different flavors from SI (Grape, Watermelon, Chocolate and Desert Joe.) and they do kind of vary with each juice but I'm vaping 24mg and I know that the nic level is what causes the throat hit.

To give you an idea of how much I vape. I've got my pv in my hand all the time if I'm sitting in my chair at my computer (which is a lot) and I puff anywhere from 2-3 per minute to once every minute to few minutes. If I had to guess I would say I must vape the equivalent of 2 packs of analogs a day.

If someone has any advice I would appreciate it. Throat hit, as with many vapers I'm willing to bet, is one of the most important aspects of vaping to me. Thanx guys!

Happy Vaping,
-Bob-

Hi Bob, Try a fresh carto or atomizer. In time, the equipment degrades. Less vapor = Less TH

If that doesn't work, more voltage, and dual coils will surely do the trick.

I'm not having an issue with the vapor actually that's why I'm confused why this is happening. This pv for being a small e-cig type actually gives a lot of vapor. The carts are bottom coil and are designed very very similar to the coils in a clearomizer or something like a vivi nova tank. With vertical coil cartos I've hardly had any good experiences. They burn out really fast and only give "ok" vapor no matter what battery I put on em. I have a couple of egos and a bunch of different tank (vivi novas, V4L carto tanks and SI clearos even CE3 clearos) and nothing has given me the performance and reliability of a simple Volt battery and carto from SI.

Could it be that my throat is getting too dry as often as I'm vaping? Should I drink more water or does that really only effect flavor?
