Hello, I'm struggling right now. It looks like the Kangertech Juppi has been for the most part, discontinued. I really enjoyed the flavor and the high wattage vaping it provided. I'm definitely in getting something even more powerful, maybe 100W? I just want advice on a reliable, affordable and enjoyable mod + tank. I'm desperately flailing around looking for deals online, and it's just too much for me to process. Hopefully, some of you have some good ideas so I don't throw away my money.

Thank You.

Deals vary somewhat depending on origin country. Assuming you live in the USA or U.K. things aren’t that difficult but this is a world wide forum so there may be variation. If you want more power you probably want a two battery mod. There are many choices. At the low end smoant and Tesla make some good ones, but many others do as well. The jupi has a fairly unique form factor you are unlikely to be able to duplicate.

Yes I'm in the US. I was looking at Squonk mods too, but I don't know much about RDA coils.. I guess I was looking at squonking because of the flavor factor.

Yes there are a lot of good deals. It's hard to sift through them all and I see a lot of questionable ones thrown in with the good ones.

RDAs are the simplest and easiest to deal with of the wick&wire designs. I would suggest getting a regulated squonk if this is the direction you want to go. They’re much safer and easier to deal with. Unregulated squonking are really mech devices and have all the entailing complication

Are there any specific regulated squonks you would recommend looking at for someone getting started with it? Thank you.

I don’t have a squonker (yet) so I’m not the best source. I personally am waiting for the dna250c squonkers to come out. They’re going to be well over a hundred bucks though. As for stuff currently on the market that isn’t so pricey I’ve heard tell the capo is OK, but I don’t know anything first hand. I’m sure if you are patient someone more lnowledgable in this area will be along to help.

Gotcha, I am taking my time. Another question I have is if there is a vape that is sort of the "spiritual successor" to the Juppi. Since it seems the Juppi is being more or less phased out. Honestly I am somewhat leaning toward just rebuying the Juppi, I found an okay deal on Ebay. However, I don't want to buy something that will be obsolete in a few months! I'm certainly going to take my time and would love more input, so I'll stand by. Thanks again for your help!

The issue is will you be able to get coils for it. IF the jupi uses coils found in other devices you stand a good chance that they will continue to be made. If it DOESN’T though you may be left out in the cold if you buy one

They do not, they are fairly rewickable and I do have a stock pile of seven new ones though. I find I get about 5months out of each coil which is another thing I love about the Juppi. Also, the tank Juppi is a bit more popular than the mod I believe.

With 5 months per coil I can really see it smok coils are lucky if they do 5 days often.

Sounds like you could get away with buying another one then.

Hey I researched a ton and my brain hurts now. What I decided to do is since I have a Juppi tank and coils, I found a mod called the Council of Vapor Tempest 200w. It was on sale for 10$. I believe, and I really hope, the Juppi tank should work just fine in the mod. That will give me the Juppi flavor I want, and also leave room to buy another tank to check out those extreme wattages. I'm going to sit out on the squonking for now, but I was looking closely at the Wraith.

The Council of Vapor Tempest 200W appears to support vaping from 10-200W and almost any tank/coil from what I'm reading. It is on sale for 10 bucks, seems like quite a steal as it was valued at $65 less than a year ago. The reviews appear positive so I'm very excited about this find.

$10 is in fact hard to beat. For that money it doesn’t even matter if it turns out to be a pos that breaks in 3 months (not that that will happen). It does look like it might be a 3 battery mod though so you may need a few more batteries

Thank you for your feedback. Yes I thought of actually ordering a few at that price just in case I lose one, but the battery cost would still be there. And yea, I lost a battery that was in my Juppi, but I had a backup and just ordered a two pack so I'm good! I have a two battery charger so I think it will be okay, especially with the juppi tank. I imagine the 3 batteries will last me a day and a half if not 2 days, as the Juppi only took one of the same batteries (still a good 14hr life with that thought)

Glad you found something to replace it with that you like. Congrats, sounds like you got a great deal, too.

Just make sure to keep your batteries "married" it may be harder to do with a 2 bay charger, but if you are only using one mod at a time, that should make things easier.

Due to the battery "marriage" issue, I'd buy 6 batteries, honestly, and keep them in two sets of three. The problem will be since you have two batteries that have already seen some use, adding a new battery on top of the pair isn't really recommended. In a pinch, if you are pretty sure you've used the batteries you have pretty consistently and similarly, you could take the four you have, and make one a set of three, and then purchase three more, so they all have the approximate same "lifespan" happening. Although, I would personally recommend 6 new batteries and starting with a "fresh" marriage, polygamy just doesn't always go so well...
