Lately I have noticed that every now and then i want be able to taste the flavor of my vape. I figured it was my taste buds were getting accustomed to the flavor and proceeded to cleanse my palate by swishing water, still no taste. I would brush my teeth and still no flavor. after that i would change the voltage on my evod either up or down, with no change in taste. I currently get all my juices in a 50/50 ratio 24mg and usually request an extra flavor shot. Does anyone else have an issue with loosing taste of the vapor?

I frequently get vaper's tounge, like every 3 hour's or so but sometimes I can make it all day with the same flavor. I constantly need to keep switching flavors. It's odd because for most it happens seldomly and not a long lasting thing. however it's something I deal with when eating as well the first few bites are amazing but by the end I can't taste any of it. If I have left over's the next day there is often no taste at all.

My guess for my case is it has to do a injury I suffered from the 5th or 6th time I broke my nose, as that is around the time this all started. There are day I can't smell anything no matter how powerful it is, other day's I can smell like a blood hound.

Switching flavors is a good idea. Keeps things fresh. Keep hydrated. If you're new to vaping it's not unheard of to suffer with vaper's tongue/mouth and you'll need to brush your tongue and gums. It's also gonna take time for your taste buds to heal and they will quickly and often over time. Your taste will change a lot. Flavors you love now you'll outgrow later. :) Good luck and Keep on Vapin' :vapor:

Vaper's tongue comes and goes for a lot of vapers, myself included.

Stay hydrated, keep up on your oral hygiene, and try switching flavors throughout the day.

It's been posted before in the forum - the onset of vaper's tongue is a good opportunity to vape those flavors that you don't particularly enjoy!
