lost password.... sort of

apparently, firefox has lost my password to ECF. chrome is remembering it, but i'd rather use FF.

obviously, my tiny brain no longer remembers what i chose when ECF was having "issues" and forced me to change it.


how can i fix this without resorting to stalking mods?

You did check FF Options > Security> Saved Passwords to see what's in there - and what ain't?

i didn't even have to change my pw. logging out and back in did the trick

mebbe the next time this happens, i might actually have to remember the pw.

Lol - you made me look! I didn't even remember my new PW after the last time ECF made me change it. I was not happy about that. It is a snarky.

the sad thing is that before i retired, i made a living hacking websites (searching for illegal stuff), often employing browser exploits. it never even occurred to me to check FF settings for that
