Hello and welcome to today's review of a very simple full size device that comes with a performance proven flavor banger of a Sub tank. This mod excels on its simplicity having no real menu system but rather a couple of button combinations that allow adjustment of wattage and power mode of which there are 2. The Centaurus N100 device can be used with a single 21700 battery or a 18650 with the included adapter tube, also included in this kit is the Centaurus Sub tank that has a proven track record for great flavor as well as smooth airflow that can be adjusted fully for a very airy DL vape or closed off for a great RDL vape with a 100 watt maximum power output from either mode of operation. This review will be a short one because of it's simple operation.

    DEVICE OVERVIEW

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Packaging of the kit is box in a outer sleeve that is nicely done for a good presentation, removing the box top reveals the Centaurus N100 device that is wrapped for protection with the Centaurus Sub Tank sitting above it also wrapped for protection.

Underneath the device and tank sits the 3ml straight glass tube, 2.0Ω and 3.0Ω UB Max Mesh coils as well as a spares bag of tank O-Rings and charge cord. Although I prefer the appearance of a straight glass tube I know that the 3ml capacity of it would require frequent refills so all testing was done using the 5mm bubble glass tube.

The Centaurus Sub Tank is no stranger to me as I have used it for a long time in my personal rotation of Sub Tanks, the mod on the other hand was pleasing to the eye. Having the Quest 2.0 chipset that in my opinion is one of the best means this device will be a solid performer.

The Centaurus Sub Tank look good with either glass tube installed, airflow can be fully opened up for a very airy vape or closed down for a great RDL vape which is my preference. When I say airy I mean airy because you can actually breathe through it fully opened up.

The UB Max coil platform puts out some of the best flavor from the choices of drop in coils and both of these perform great. The top cap is a quarter turn to open and has 2 large fill ports that allows any size bottle tip to be used and because their large air is able to escape easily when filling preventing any backflow mess from happening.

Moving on the the mod it is nice to have the option of using 2 different sized batteries but the Centaurus N100 is best suited for a 21700. Having a battery ribbon makes for quick removal of either battery, there is correct polarity symbols on the devices battery sled marked with a positive + and a negative - that aren't easily seen because of the transparent material.

Both side panels easily pop off when a fingernail is inserted in the gap at the bottom of each panel. The magnets used to hold the panels on are strong but there is some play on both of them, its not a lot but it is noticeable. The 510 pin is centered on the Centaurus N100 .

I really like a device to have a simple lock switch these days because is so easy to turn the device off with just a flick of the switch rather than either going into the menu to turn the device off like some devices have or the usual 5 quick presses of the fire button ( a switch is easier and faster ).

There are 2 power modes which are the normal mode ( Blue screen ) and the DIY mode, in DIY mode you have a red screen. The round robin feature is also on this chipset.

    Final impressions

As I have mentioned earlier the Centaurus Sub Tank is on of my favorites because of the flavor the UB Max coils produce as well as the smooth airflow albeit on the noisy side.

The Centaurus N100 is a solid performer as well being so simple to operate and having a lock switch. When I say simple I mean simple.

    * Wattage Lock/Unlock - 3 quick Presses Of The Fire Button

    * Changing Power Modes - 5 Quick Presses Of The Fire Button

    * Power Off - Flip The Lock Switch

My only con is the movement of the side panels be it ever so slight it is still noticeable and I'm not a fan of the jog dial but once you set your wattage and lock it from being adjusted you wont need to adjust it so it's really no big deal, the dial does stick out a bit but in the time I've been testing it I have had no issues with it.

Having the Quest 2.0 chipset inside is the biggest plus for the Centaurus N100 device. If you don't mind a bit of wiggle from the side panels this makes a great choice for either a new vaper or a seasoned one.

I would like to thank Sue and Heath Cabin for providing the Centaurus N100 Kit for the purpose of my review. I would also like to thank all of you that read my reviews.

    THANK YOU
